COVID-19
Sing to me like the birds and the bees,
Sing to me with your chanting melody of peace.
I need your comfort, come closer,
A cup once pure has red wine running over.
Protect me from this unstable world,
That has nothing to offer but pain and sorrow each turn.
Sing to me like the birds and the bees,
Sing to me with your chanting melody of peace.

Bring forth thy ointment that covers me,
And I shall not fear them but forever speak.
His namesake,
Not when the sun is away or on a rainy day.
Not when I'm in a spell-casting sleep or wide awake.
But every day until the earth collapse and death approach.
I will not fear them for he is forever, my Lord, and my savior.
Amen.

Red Wine
My brother talked about red wine,
The woman of red skin, no sugar or spice.
You're the one with skin like Cleopatra,
And an attitude that is always ready for battle.

The good looking woman, you're sweet and sour like lemons.
You're the one with eyes that keeps demanding more power.
You're the one who's appeal is like Marilyn Monroe and the devil soul.
Yes, I've heard stories about you; some a mystery and some true.
What is it about you that draws me close? I haven't the slightest clue.

Maybe it's your cherry lips or the way you swing your wide hips.
I find the red wine interesting, she is kind, she is bold but not innocent.
She is beautiful, she is smart, and is only guilty of pleasure.
She is precious, pretty vain and should be loved and treasured.

Nightmare
Birds could fall from the sky.
Planes could crash and the earth could break.
But It wouldn't matter to you or me.
****** rivers and human parasites,
We're not safe but you've created a place consciously.
That it wouldn't matter to you or me.

But what happens if you leave?
If, doubt was a person it would be it.
If I could love another I can't see myself with.
The language we chose to speak, is what is causing our hearts to leak.
I cannot fight the Ifs and buts,
I can only show you the way I feel about us.

Black Bird.
I felt the cold breeze chilled on my skin,
So I opened my eyes to blood like wings.
That circled me till I saw no more,
Leaving a shadow behind closed doors.
As it gets close, distant, but near,
I said goodbye to the ones I love dear.

Body Language.
Gently press your lips against mine,
Someday I'd love to taste your wine.
Hidden garden,
Blooming flowers in May,
Only your fruits I solely crave.

"Unlaced yourself" my art revealed,
I know I'd be in pain but afterward, I'd heal.
Insert your piece to complete me.
And as I gasp for air; whisper in my ear
All the things I'd love to hear.

Cold breeze and curled toes,
Your soft hand grips my throat.
Pull my hair and rip my clothes; till my eyes rolled and
I knew then you'd touched my soul.
Broken bed, not my tiny heart.
Be forever and always, never apart.

Isolated.
Lost but in control,
Looking into your eyes,
Still searching for a soul.
You're just an illusion,
That made me believe you were real,

That you'd be the light shining beside me.
Drowning my sorrows and pain,
Drowning more and more each day.
Drained by your burning love,
I love you too but it's not enough.
