Sense my fear of flying,
my fear,
so fearful of falling in love again.
My barriers are solid,
fixed fast.

If a million stars should dare to fall,
I would try to catch them,
plant them down my garden path,
show me the way to go.
but stubborn as I am
I'd probably ignore them.

If only,
I could stop,
stop chasing my tail,
I would,
like a puppies tail,
my tail,
just can't be caught.

One day I shall fly again,
My wings they shall unfurl,

As a mirage,
in a barren desert,
maybe you'll appear,
then,
and only then,
I may discover that you are real.

Tryst
Da Dum Da Dum - melodic sonnet beat,
Ten syllables on each and ev'ry line;
Enough to put the reader fast asleep,
And don't forget the **** thing has to rhyme.
Just fourteen lines exact, no more - no less,
To revel in some tantalising plot;
Two short quatrains endeavour to address,
And introduce the who, the where, the what.
Then just four lines to tell a second tale,
That wends and weaves on some tangential route,
To set the scene that leads to the unveil
As if the reader gives a flaming hoot!
A rhyming couplet finishes the tryst,
To hit them with that all important twist!

Now is but my finest hour,
as flowers spray,
Mine is that of scented roses,
wound round trellis in my garden,
such delight,
My years.
they are  just flowers in the sun,
loaded with seeds to multiply,

Mine,
are buddlea blooms on bushes,
bright blue,
enticing butterflies,
or dried lavender,
freshens costumes for work and play,
blouses of pure chiffon,
cotton and silk,

As age passes,
so,
so does my style,
Once was decadent and hectic,
now dressed with serenity,
I'm just,
Just still a hippie at heart.

You're a constellation, a juniper standing tall, the smell of rain, the river flowing, the stars shining and the wind blowing.
I am so ******* whipped and I bet you know it

When the stars were only a fragment of my imagination, you kept me on earth. I wonder how you made me feel like a galaxy and then as little as an atom of dust. You're fire spreading through the meadow and I am the wind blowing. Your words are intangible and my mind is tired of fake things- fragments of my imagination making me soar the sky.
They're not real. We're not real.
Reality grounds me and the magnetic field keeps me down on body, but not in soul. You were an anchor keeping me still- keeping me down, and now that you're not here, my feet is still planted on the ground.
I don't know how to feel better, I just wonder for when it happens.
I guess what we had was more in my mind and it was never really in yours too

Write me a letter
Sing me a song
Paint me a picture
Place me, I belong

Play me your music
Allow me this chance
Make me your pick
Incite me to dance

Save me my cry
Wipe me my tears
Try me, I'll try
Lend me your ears

Grant me your patience
Teach me my words
Say to me your sentence
Free us, we're birds

Build us a boat
See me a star
Rid me this moat
Have me where you are

Write us, we're poems
Turn us into song
Paint us as totems
Love us, we belong
