My desire is to be reflective
of the divine perspective
that highly exalts only Him,
throughout my being and my limbs.

A revelation of Christ’s Truth
is that He’s my fountain of youth.
I’m grafted into His true vine
that overflows with spiritual wine.

For more of Him and less of me
is the way that it needs to be;
O my Lord, please…
allow my faith to be fully employed,
whereby my ego is… d’stroy’d!

I’ve dropped Abraham’s knife
since I’ve got eternal life;
holy blood was previously shed
and I’m bound by His scarlet thread.

From this frail humanity of me
Let my life shine with victory,
for You Lord, keep me on course…
being my strength and true source.

For more of Him and less of me
is the way that it needs to be;
O my Lord, please…
allow my faith to be fully employed,
whereby my ego is… (completely) d’stroy’d!

Cassie walked down the stairs and imediently ran into pyper "oh dang" she spoke nervously. almost bumping into her. "how are you doing this evening pyper?" she tried to keep her cool. "i'm good." pyper replied. "i went into your room and found your ipod." pyper handed cassie over the pink ipod. "you did?" cassie smiled. "well that was really sweet of you to go out of your way like that." cassie grinned. "what a kind person you are." she added. "yeah, i guess." pyper nodded and sighed. "got any plans for the night?" cassie asked in a friendly tone. "well i was going to go out walking for awhile." pyper sighed. "i'll be back in about a half an hour."
"perfect!" cassie grinned.
"what?" pyper asked in confusion and agravation.
"i'm just saying your perfect, i wish i looked like you. you're like an american dream." cassie lied.
"um, ok? cya around cassie." pyper sulked down the hallway. she looked very tired and sad and her hands were shaking. and she had her hands in the pocket of her leather jacket like she had been cold. "cya around pyper." cassie patted pyper on the back and smiled."
"don't touch me!" pyper snapped.
"alright." cassie backed away cautiously with her hands up.

looking into her eyes
i could tell it told a stroy
a rare thing
told me everything she was afraid of
that look on her face told it all
but most importantly
the one thing i remember as clear as crystal
those blue eyes that drowed my sorrows away and made me think of something
someone
other than myself for once
they told me id never understand
little did she understand ive been through the same she'd been trough
fought the same battles
lingered apon the same questions and wondered the same thoughts
pictured the same scenerios in my head that we wanted to happen
and even thought about things the same way
it was perfect
i knew her just as well as she knew me
from just her eyes i could see the bittter past she wasnt willing to share
and the eager future she was excited about continuing
but loosing hope because everyone had shot down her dreams
fearless but had the courage that someday shed let all of the bad thoughts go
shed get rid of the deomns for good
she win the game of life
she knew she had it in her
the resononing behind becoming a better person for herself
felt good because she knew it wasnt for anybody else
although looking into her eyes i saw
hatred
jealousy
betrayl
traits i noticed
things id been familiar with and i just wanted to tell her weveall been there
to not trust every single person you meet
to take off that elecrtic smile that brightened up the room
to not open up so easily to those who were being nosey and desperate to break into the source of someone elses problems to cast away the shawdows of theirs for just a
moment
to not run off with the boy who had the pretty smile and differet personality because he ends up being the same guy as the rest
to tell her to turn around and notice the nice guy
the guy who cared about her all along who would do anything for her
protect her and fight for her no matter what
but no matter what she wouldnt listen
she wanted the bad guy
figured he knew a way to make the
pain go away
and indeed he did
which made more pain present in those eyes that were once as blue as the ocean
turn as black as the sky on a night there are no stars to look opon
i wanted to tell her all the things growing up i wish i  knew
looking into her eyes i saw that reflection staring back at me and telling myself
"im that little girl that once was you"

He slapped her
Hard
She lay on the Dirt floor until she heard His footsteps disappear
into the Safety of their bedroom.

She looked up at Her yellowbrown walls.
“I should really repaint them”
They reminded her of Summer
and she hated Summer.

She wanted to cry,
but didn’t.
She wanted to call Them,
but couldn’t.

After all, this was only His First time
She climbed into their yellowbrown bed
which matched the yellowbrown walls
and yellowbrown fridge
which was specifically color coordinated with
the yellowbrown drapes that she had Loved so much.
She fell a sleep,
her warmish body pressed against His.
His being as hot as Summer.
She hated Summer.

She Loved him.
He Loved her.

He a pologized.

She thought it would Never happen a gain.
Never A nother time.
A nother cycle.
Repetition
  Repetition
   REPETITION
Over and over and over and over and over and over and over A gain.

She began to flood her river onto her too pink Cheeks
Slowly Choking to Death on her own
Self pity and Shame
And all he could do was grant her a hug of Darkness
as she quietly Drowned
After all, this was only his Ninth time.

She still hated Summer

And she still Loved him
He Loved her.

She fingered her bruises
like a well cherished Friend.
Gingerly
Carefully
Lovingly

She refused to buy him another Beer.
She thought he might Stop.
He didn’t.
He Con tinued
To De stroy
PERFECTION

They reported His Death.
She stood in front of grayblack coffin,
Her river Flowed faster and faster down
her emaciated Cheeks and onto His tombstone.
Faster and faster still
until she had to break the cool, cold surface
just to Find her own Humanity.

She still Loved him.
He must still Love her.

Her Mind began to drift.
Is there a God?
A man maybe,
with a long beard and a Wise and Kind face.
She had seen Him on TV.
Some kind of Religious channel about the story of Jesus.
She thought she would
Like to be like Jesus.

She made sure the rope was Tight.
The chair was just tall Enough to reach
with the Ends of her toes. She privately smiled
That Smile to herself.
As if she were sharing a Private joke.
And she was the Only one
who really knew the punch line.
The yellowbrown room was Hot.
As Hot as Summer.
She hated Summer.

She Jumped.
The rope was Tight.
It didn’t take long.
She was just trying to get to that Better place.
The Place where a TV God
with a long beard and a Kind face
would welcome her with the sharpness of a knife.
A Place where there was no Shame,
no yellowbrown fridge
that was carefully color coordinated
with the yellowbrown drapes,
no Summer,
no Private jokes,
no Imperfections,
and no Rivers.

A place of Peace.
Where there were no other bluepurplegray galaxies in the Universe
other than Him and Her.

Because she Loved him.
He Loved Her.

His smile makes her smile,
it makes her feel.
His guitar makes her relax,
a feeling so unreal.

Her laugh makes him happy,
her smile makes him soar.
This emptiness is filling,
she's everything and more.

There is a love stroy,
behind every cry.
There is a sob story,
behind every lie.

His hands beat her down,
there's blood on her floor.
She scrambles to her feet,
behind her locking the door.

She left the child on the doorstep,
with a note that merely read :
"Make sure you raise her well,
I can not keep her fed.."

There's pieces to the story,
a truth to every lie.
There's always someone there,
within whom to confide.

She's holding the blade,
resting it on her wrist.
He stops her from writing,
another story with a twist.

He's drinking that bottle,
to his head he knows.
She's dumping it down the drain,
her love is begining to show.

Every single story,
every single lie.
Each and every person,
every last goodbye.

There is always a reason,
though you may not see.
He is there for her,
you are there for me.

Read what is not written,
see between the lines.
When she says she's okay,
she is not fine.

Listen.
Understand.
There is a story,
here at hand...

Old friend, we lost it all!
We went our separate ways
While rain pummeled the rooftop
and mellow autumn wind caressed a poppy's cheek.
We drove home together, but felt far apart.
As if we never knew each other..
And the bond between us severed
As the lumberjack uproots a tree,
Merciless and mandatory!
Old friend,
Although I still hear the rustling of paper from your chamber,
Your heartbeat seems to have stopped
And your congealed blood reeks of hostility.
I sit here, hiding my head in my bony hands
Which you would hold as we fell asleep.
We were children at the time
innocent and whimsical.
We were captives of our own little kingdom
Funny how our fortress tumbled down
and we chained ourselves to the ruins that remained..
This is not how our stroy should have gone.
Tell me if there's anything I can do other than cry, miss those days
or pour my heart into a poem you'll never read...
This is among the very first poems I ever wrote..
Jonas May 15
I see, you
Clearly
You're out of this world
It's all so obvious to me
Please
Take me with you
I want out
My therapist says I need to kiss you
I think
I wasn't really listening

What's my lifes worth?
What's a life
Worth
Without a little joy
A little company?

Show me
Your teeth
Sweetheart
Haunt me with those pretty eyes
Of yours
Wolfen stare
You run with the pack
Run wild
Make me miss you

Be the paint to my canvas
You draw me, in
With a stroke of luck
We'll have a deep connection
I need a good ****

You bite
You're on my mind
Constantly
I guess it's bad luck
You're name scratches on the inside of my throat
Stuck on my tounge
Claws and fangs
Make for hard facts to swallow

Sweet pains always turn to poerty
In time
So tell me now
Is this real?
Are you, real?
Are you for real?
With me
About me
About us, this, whatever this is?

Your laugh
Is the only hope
In my stroy

Dear David USA, NY

200 pairs of socks owned, the crazier the better he says
I'll have them all
Been a president already for 15 years and stil going strong
They're still counting
On you

It takes about 6 cups a day for him to warm a heart
Learn from the Italians David!
Glasses of wine aren't ment to be counted
4 cats, 2 hedgehogs, 1 goldfish
Make for a big family
Sounds like a good one

Just LOVES the ocean and the snow he says
To cool his mind with something beautiful
Find peace in the vast
And watch the reflection shine a little light back into your life
Let it brighten your day
Maybe we need more men who love in capital letters

So many numbers make up a life
The stroy basically writes itself
It's right there
All you have to do is take a moment to look
Imagine a screen, watch it unfold
Try to hold on too
Numbers add up fast
If you're not careful
And blink twice
Present becomes the past

Stay safe and smile bright
Jonas May 15
It takes some salt
Some water and some wheat
To bake up a story
Could be my story
Could be a good stroy
Of a life filled with worry

I took some beatings in my time
You see
I tried and failed
Took some beatings
Crushed again and again
I choose poorly

To be fair
I might have been
An ***
Savory and juciy
Call it a pastry

Still there is some beauty
Left in me
Leftovers
Blooming like a delicate flour
Sorry, I'm a little drunk
It's meant to be "flour"

Then one night it happens
You're out
A she enters the scene
Gets her hands on you
Hot and steaming
"You're so sweet"
Put some sugar on top
Smear it on my mouth
Mouth to mouth
Don't forget to swallow
You're toasted, breathing shallow

3,2,1 time's up
She got bored of you
Bored of your taste
Lost interest and turns away
Another oppurtunity gone
Again
Got your hopes up
Again
Over time you can't help it
You turn sour

I'm tired
Please
Lay me down to rest
I only ever wanted
To live freely
You can only do what you can
With what you have
And try your best

The next day
Another night, another girl
It's late
We are at mine
You have me
For one night
Now
Leave your marks on me
Add scars to my back
Might be to much for me
You crush me a little, make it crack

After you're done with me
You just stand there
Wait and watch
Patiently
You have time, no rush

Watch me turn and turn
In my sleep, in my dreams
You watch me suffer
Watch me, rise and fall under the heat
I'm under preassure
How I beat myself up
You add to it too
Inflated ego
On the rise
Getting bigger and bigger

Let's wait some more
The moment I cool off
Back at room temp
And let myself fall
Right into your arms
You'll strike
Dig in your nails again
Tear me apart
Pull out my insides for the world to see
See, I told you I was soft there
And warm too
Hot even, just for you

A fair trade
I eat you out, you eat me up
Devour me whole
That's the deal
And yet you're hungry still
For more

The world is your oyster
Tell me now

What's for desert?
