Adrift asleep,
Among the stars,
Eternity sleeps,
Existence discards,
Flashes of light,
Rush right past,
While this cosmic giant,
Slumbers so fast.

Adrift asleep,
Among the stars,
Existence arrives,
As it discards,
Flickers of light,
Rush right past,
The cosmic giant,
Slumbers so fast.
Time is relative even for the stars

You always are complaining
about how you don’t have enough of me.
When you have extra of me you waste me.

I’m not a physical thing
but an idea.

I’m always off by a little,
no matter where you look

I tell you when to do something.
If your early or late.

I’m a grandfather but I don’t have kids.
My pendulum is what digs your grave.

I am fathertime.

we all coexist within another.
father time, granting us a constant movement of life
a cloaked, bearded man with the power of an hourglass.
an endless cycle of highs and lows effecting the world
as above so below.
alas, without love, the earth would turn to dust
drawn together, since the beginning of eternity
father time founded mother earth.
intertwined out of chaos, a nurturer was born.
to create out of love,
trees alongside the sea
time never catching up to the speed of light
equality of the unknown, transpiring its purpose to live
granted, the universe aligns in peace
nirvana at its peak
solely, as an individiual
we seek the hidden purpose
beyond ones navigation of life

If a wish would come right now,
And I lost all the head weight,
And Father Time himself sat still,
I'd have time to contemplate.
And all the lights in my world
Would shine a luminous blue.
So take this to the cold:
I am coming for you.
Make a wish into the vast eternal blue...

Oh Father time, Father time
Listen to my plea
I've lost my heart along the way
Somewhere in the shimmering, moonlit sea

Your heart is in a beautiful place
Surrounded by happiness and love

But I desperately need my heart right now
Otherwise I'll never be able to love

Oh Father time, Father time
Return to me my heart
A boy of young has stolen it
I can't bare to be apart

Your heart has made a choice of its own
Its fallen for this boy
Its not my role to take it back
Even if its being used as a toy

Oh Father time, Father time
Return me to a place
A time before i met that boy
So I can turn away from his embrace

Just as your heart made a choice
You too have made one so
I cant erase the consequences
For you have chosen this road

I'm a fool who had thought I can change the past
Simply because I wasn't content
I've got to face the music now
No matter what hell it presents

I'll bare through it all
Till my heart can be free
For time waits for no man
Let alone me

Look..look here, pause for a second before the seconds get near

the clock is dishonest and it cuts like shears.

I stare into the sky yet I do not fear

even if the end was near, I would be in the clear

Like visions that are translucent, let's mix it up like blood transfusions

don't think too hard just say you can do it!

what are drugs to a man using?

I call it addicted, my logic is gifted I'm on it your just with it

let me call a witness to this lyrical massacre

my letters strangle the pilot, co-pilot, and passengers.

There belittled by small riddles am the verbal ambassador

My minds pickled so sick hospice, not hospital

my rhymes ripple as I watch the clock trickle

Time is the enemy never stare at it, and if you look for too long...you will become an addict

An addiction to numbers...one two three...along with others

Countless counts of time equal to a waste of time so pause it, take your time...

A debate will rise ...to take equates to loss..we run, drive, and fly at any cost

But there is only one currency...time is the coin of all eternity.

When the hands turn they move clockwise with certainty.

the counter clock is unwise certainly...

because it moves in contrast with urgency...

Father Time what is thee emergency?
Mother Nature's calling she waiting for the earth to speak.

Father Time, look what's become of me
Slowly you stripped away all the possibilities
Now I'm fragile and old
I'm growing cold

This live of mine is incomplete
Look a cliff,  I think I'll leap
Better to take the plunge
Than live a life on the run

For time has swept away
All the joys of the day
As silent as a thief in the night
You came and stole my sight

Now I see only shades of gray
Standing in the rains of decay
Gone are the years of yesterday

All I have are memories of a life survived
Of a life where happiness was deprived
So Father Time please make my time on this earth short
I'm tired of the way you distort

I welcome your friend, the reaper
The very first  keeper

Its morning the sun is coming up tick-tock time for me to wake up.
Father time doesn’t wait for no one he’s always on the move.
Tick-tock every second, minute, and hour counts; time waits for no one to catch up.
So, much pressure to figure things out, I’d wish time wasn’t so precious.
Help me then Father Time to forget.
Forget the scars of my life because, with time my scars haunt me inside instead.
But, Father Time magic doesn't work like that.
All he can do is give you is time to heal your pain, and figure things out.
Now I have a chose what to do with my time that counts.
