Halfblood Dec 2017
get rid of those friends,
they’ll only hurt you.

stop letting others walk over you,
be mean, but only to a few.

don’t hurt yourself please.
don’t take those pills either.

save up and treat yourself.
buy enough books to fill a shelf.

don’t lose yourself to another world.
keep it real, you don’t need a shield.

one more thing, my younger self.
it will get better soon, i promise.
I was naive and hopeless and lost. Now I’m aware but smart about my thoughts .

hearing your voice again
made me remember how much
I missed you.
don’t know if this even counts as a poem but I miss their voice so muc

I want to believe when I **** its romantic
but no lovers remind me of love
because you took that from me
I am now shattered on the ground
and I can't seem to put the pieces back
they just don't fit like they used to
and no matter who I try to love
they can't fill in the cracks
just like breaking a mirror
you can glue it back
but you'll always see
and feel
those scars you left in me
Halfblood Nov 2017
my heart has been flipped upside.
it's bleeding grey.
ouch

You stand out
like a fruit loop
in a bowl
of cheerios

bring me a slice of the sky,
a bucket full of sea water,
a handful of the earth's soil,
and a breath full of hope,

for I would pray to unseen powers,
to fuse and mold,
humanity with nature again,
rinsing the sins of both,

and we shall learn to respect,
the age-old tryst,
which existed,
between the gods, we don't remember,
and the humans we once were.
