briney merl
incessant swirl
stix tite
smell of salts
yawn a sigh
fear makes you tired
anticipation wired
mind flashes past
appreciate what could not last
a mortal thump
a mental jump
the futures here
enemy near
no time to think, react
you hear the sound of attack
the thing you do without regret
you hope one day to forget
ah to be on a previous page
when youth demanded that i age
This is life sometimes when actions are based on reaction.

blooming rainbows in dewy pearls,
on rivières with rosette curls,
on webs festoon'd, on leaves of tree,
tiaras hung on twined ivy

as the golden globe appears
shoots its rays as arrows' swirls
through sweet dawn's crystal tears
of opalescent mother o' pearls

on verdant fronds as they unfurl
like dripping tears of Slighted Girl
as pale moon that sunlight kissed
seeks Her Lover midst the mist

lost beneath the velvet canopy
of diamond strings as cherry burl
in the folds of world's entropy
in chorus of the morning merl

There once was a girl
Who collected all creatures
All with at least one curl
she had screechers
And when passing she would say hi merl
Or hey mr. preachers
But all of them were well
Well fed well mannered and even well.. Pampered
For if they wanted anything they would just ring a bell
They would scamper
Here and scamper there
For every where they may play
As long as they don't touch their hair
Then they may do as wish as long as they obey
It was a sad thing if they did not listen
For example the day casey braided her hair
Oh how her eyes did glisten
With a mischievous flair
When she was caught you could see realization in her eyes
And soon after her hair was bleached and turned green
And tried a many lies.
But the look Gave her away
now i am sure you can find the moral. But if you can’t i will help do not disobey
your elders or they may dye your hair.

Like a ship sails off the coast searching for the priceless pearl, I’ve been away looking for that beautiful girl.
I found the one with thick hair and slight curls, and her presence make butterflies unfurl.
She is the singing bird can make my heart whirl, but never compare her to a merl.
She is so precious and rare like the blue pearl, and she will always in my heart as the beautiful flower girl.
