On A Thread
Shaken at the core of my being.
I feel I'm losing touch.
From all the things that I adore.
And love so much.
Giving in to this filthy world.
Holding on by the spool.
Will I overcome this hell in me.
Or drown as a fool.

Buried deep in this hole.
I feel like letting go.

Faith is deteriorating.
Morals slowly decaying.
What have I become?
Take me back to the days.
Where I felt that I was one.
With the ones I hold dear.

Please don't let me fall away!
I'm holding on barely and praying!
Begging you to save me!
Wearily but strongly I'm holding on!
(By an inch of faith of my own thread!)
To see the light of day!

Lord I know that I'm a sinner.
And I try my hardest to break away.
But each day it gets harder and harder.
When my flaws are thrown back at me.
Hanging my head in shame.
As I look in the mirror
Knowing I could make a change.
If only I'd see clearer.

Grant me the peace I need.
To make it through the day.
Renew my heart of guilt and sorrow.
So I can find my way.
I know you are there there through the darkest of greys.
So give me all I need
To see when you reach for me
I will grab your hand!!!

The Lady With No Face
I woke up from the best dream.
So lucid, and vivid.
Defined with every detail.
Raising from my bed, grasping for thin air.
But nothing is there.
Just the cold thin air.

Chilling to the spine, despair sets In.
Pondering and wondering where I sit.

Dreams reflect revelations of the mind.
And in mine a seductress so divine.
Clouded angel sent with blue ribbons.
Skin cloaked with the glare of sunshine.
A touch softer than a skyline cloud.
Voice sweeter than the most melodic sound.

She gently layed her hand in mine.
And said come with me my dear.
You have taken a lifetime to find.

She came from outta nowhere.
Off in the distance then straight to me.
Hand in hand we walked through.
The land if dream.
Conversations about many things.

Here stands this majestic lady so beautiful it seems.
But she stood there with no face.
Like scribbles on paper is the veil she wore.
Then I ask, why don't you reveal who you are?

She said...

It is not yet that time.
I am only a figment and ideal but a reality.
Of what's to come your way.
Your mind is a beautiful place where I wait.
To be brought to life.
I see into your soul and you into mine.
And my face will be revealed to you in time.

But until then...

Just look into these colorless eyes.
And know that I am a reality and alive.
One day your world will bring us together.
And forever we will live and die.

Then she lay her head against my chest.
To listen to the drumming of my heart.
Calm but so fast and rapid it beats.
Music to we ears she said it seems.
In this moment I am alive, one with another.
A few moments of silence.
Standing quietly.
Holding one another.
Sun illuminates the skin.
The warmth sends chills toy spine.

One last moment I slowly raise my head.
To press my lips against her head.
And all of a sudden, she falls away.
And I'm awake...

I guess that's what I was grasping for...

But I have no worries
Because what she sang in my ears.
Rings there with each breath I take.
And one day I shall find you again.
Veil of distortion unraveled.
Face revealed.
Hand in hand once again.
My dreams made a reality.
And in this moment we will be one.
Then I shall hold you and simply say.

I love you...

Until this moment comes.
I will rise with arms open wide.
Ready to keep you from falling away.
Waiting to catch you...

Walking mirrors(self image)
Tread through the path of days end.
All I can see, far from reach.
Far above towering mountains, across open seas.
Are self explanatory reflecting images.
Millions if beautiful multicolors if eyes.
The low rumbles if imperfectly sculpted mouths.
So far they can see, so hard they can breathe.
Through an abstract vanity so well protected.

A mirror image matching identically.
To each living, breathing, seeing aspect of me.

So much alike, yet so different.
A beautiful masterpiece of diversity.
Some reflect a perfect double.
While others are like shattered glass.

As I observe closely I see myself through these;
flawed imperfect stainglass windows.
I see you, I see me.

Pondering the thoughts comtemplate...

Through all these beautiful imperfect imagrys.
I ponder the thought of how we came to be.
Only a being, perfect, benevolent, omnipotent.
Could conjour such a creature as thee.
A creature with hands and feet.
With a mind to ponder and think.
And a heart that loves and beats.
Such a stature if conjouration are we.

What are we, why are we here?
We are an anomaly of what we bear.

Humanoid figures symbols of relevance.
Different shapes and sizes.
We are mirrors of one another.
How are we brought to be?

Something phenomenal I see.
Couldn't have been a coincidence.
These are the works of a mighty king.

Divine and with love he made you and me...

To live through his mirror image is;
One of love and tolerance.
Another of being thankful and humble.
His plans of us are his mural.
Walking mirrors like one another.
We are his greatest creation.
A one of a kind masterpiece.

Feelings of positivity flow through me.
As I feel a sense of faith grow In me.
And see his image and character grow through me.
I know what I must do to seek him.

Love him...
Serve him...
Praise him...
Know him...

We are the walking mirrors of one.
King of creation, lord of reflections.

I see now what I must do, what we must do...

We'll be cutthroat
(The malicious cycle revolves...)

It's a dog eat dog world.
Go for gold, or go broke with hands on the floor.
(Back against the wall...)
A feeble attempt to avoid the stab wounds.
Trustworthy is the enemy kept closest to you.
(No one left to trust...)

Moral sense tossed out the door into your face.
Backed by petty double standards.
The love in your heart shall be trampled.
No remorse in the wicked.

The disease lies within us all.
(Sociopath...)
It must be yours at all cost.
(Kleptomaniac...)
Hurting those who love the most.
(Vindictive...)
Your the kings and queens of a lost world.
(Narcissist...)

Keep your guard up.
In this world of lost hope.
It's hunt or be hunted...

Wipe the sweat from your brow.
(Keep you're wits about you.)
Be as ruthless as the rest of them.
(Do what they tell you to.)
And from the scars layed upon you're heart.
This cutthroat world will get the best of you.
If you don't stand your ground...

Go in swinging fists swole as rocks.
Drawing blood from blood.
Loved one knocked down in front of you.
All for you to reach the top.
(Getting everything you want!!!)
Human compassion dosent mean a thing.
In this malicious death match called life.

It's you against the world(so they say.)
From rags to riches(you lost you're soul.)
Along the way you think you're bold (ha ha ha ok!)
All you've done is dig your grave(lost you're way.)

Let's break our crooked blades.
And rebuild this place.
Learn to love on another once again.
Break away from out perpetual ways.
Love kindness and compassion.
Really do go a long way.
So let's start over.
Let love full everything we hate...

Still Dirty
From the ground is where I came from.
And one day it's where I shall return.
Carbon particals compartmentalize into every flaw.
That has set me up to burn.
Torn and broken picking my cross up.
Out of the mud that we slip in.
Don't let the changes and good deeds fool you.
I'm still a coward behind this structure.
Of broken clay.

But the potter will catch me when I fall.
He will never allow me to break.

I have fallen so many times flat on my face.
So many times I pick myself up to start again.
Where will I find solid ground to stand on.
My feet are calloused from treading the sands.
Of a lifetimes of letdowns and disappointments.
Serving one so true while I've just learned to stand again.
This fresh blood has yet to even dry to my hands.
But you shall lead me to purified waters.
So I can wash away the filth and be clean again.

I don't know where we're going.
But we shall push through the quicksand.
Together hand in hand we'll reach for his.

We are all a flawless diamond.
Beneath the ash and soot of flesh and bones.
The dirt and dust will build up.
And skin shall die and slowly float away.
For death was engraved into out genetics.
But there's no need to fear this.
For he has an oasis up ahead.
And all we need do is lean foward.
Take his hand and jump.

JUMP!!! Take the ultimate leap of FAITH!!!

Wipe the dust from your lips the mud from your face.
The blood off your hands let the dirt fall away
We are all ***** but by his graceful waters.
We are clean we are saved.
Rebirth.
We're just diamonds in the rough falling into place.
