Johnny in black
a girl's heart attack--
his perfect-guitarred-croon
made all them girls swoon

and for her...
              her name was June

A stint in prison
for freedom-- the reason
dude learned his lesson
came back to sing-them

and brought along a girl
                                 named June

A ring of fire
his heart's desire
no line to walk
when you walk the talk

Johnny simply had a thing
                                       for June.

And through his heart
though worlds apart
she saw what was true
and it carried them through--

that beautiful view of Johnny
                                              in June.
Yeah..
there was hurt in it too
all things-- covered
    in blue

all because Johnny
                    loved June

there's somethin about a man in black..

There are cries that come
like weather—
loud, sudden,
gone before they finish saying
what needed to be said.

And then there are the others.
The ones that wait for years
to find a home
safe enough
to be heard.

Tonight, it wasn’t just a song
that broke you—

it was the quiet
after the song ended,
the part where someone stayed.

No questions
or fixing.
Just presence,
while you folded
into the sound of your own heart
finally unclenching.

You didn’t cry because you were weak.

You cried because
you were ready
to stop pretending
it didn’t matter.

And the silence that followed
wasn’t empty—
it was full of everything
you never got to say.

So let this be the night
you remember not what shattered,

but who stayed
long enough
to help you gather the pieces.

I'm so low
that when I get high
I barely reach level
Every day is a street fight
2 v. 1
me against
myself and the devil

breath by breath
step by step
day by day by day
all alone in a sealed off cave
dreamin of sunrays
tryin to escape

everyday I'm just chippin away
everyday's another tug on the fray

I'm so low
that when I get high
I barely reach level
Every day is a street fight
2 v. 1
me against
myself and the devil

a blade a twist
reminisce that gentle kiss
cool mist
spray of the waves
blisters and ****** fingertips
wrestle with demons
some days don't resist

yet I'm still chippin away
despite another day is a pull on the fray

little beams of light
drink in the sun
revive the will to fight

so I'm just chippin away
everyday's another tug on the fray

I'm so low
that when I get high
I barely reach level
Every day is a street fight
2 v. 1
me against
myself and the devil

No I'm not.
I'm human,
I made mistakes,
So don't tell me I'm "perfect"
When I have,
Told lies,
Spread gossip,
Held onto darkness.
And am taking responsibility
For it.
Then trying to spread positivity.
Life is beautiful but
Would the wind whisper love in my ear
When I am hanging there?

Life is short but
Would the sea hug me
Or would it just erase my name?

Life is exciting but
Would the fire make my heart warm
Or would it burn my memories?

Pain is temporary but
Would the pills heal my unloved heart
And would my blood paint my life-story?

Everything will be fine but
Will the floor kiss me passionately
Or will it break my heart even more?

I already tried, I took silver liquid
And combined it with strawberry milk
But it did more bad than worse

Will my parents be so proud
If I lay there in a pretty dress?
I tried to touch the stars last night
So i took a chair and turned off the light

I reached higher than I ever tried
I saw them already, so beautiful, I even cried

But I lost balance and the chair fell
The light went on, and I was back in my cell
my goals :)
-take breaks when needed
-spill EVERYTHING out on paper
And read it before hitting “send”
-post AT LEAST 1 a day (if I’m not taking a break)
- take care of myself
- write something happy at least 2 times a month
Can you help me stay on top of those goals!? I’ll promise to let y’all know if I’m taking a break :)
Sometimes love isn’t about loving someone else — it’s about learning to love yourself.
Don’t give up on yourself — you’re the one person you truly need. Stay strong!
