They handed us some toys
And told us to shut up
We were such docile boys
As they have finished the job
labyrinth Jan 2023
Last time we’ve met
It was moving linear
Does time know that
It entered a new year
labyrinth Dec 2022
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
People bad, world hell
Dunno what else to say
labyrinth Dec 2022
I dunno that much about poems
Honest-to-goodness, I mean it
I’m just after few good rhymes
By now, you should have seen it

Thia’s coming
An old friend from US
An old friend from the past
Thia’s coming
So are some memories
Now, I’m older than ever
But, that’s not the point here
Thia’s coming
Along with her friend Tre
So are some of my NY days
That I’m having hard time
To remember nowadays
And, that feels almost like crime
My good old friend from the states paid me a visit in Istanbul after 17 years. I’m so happy

Shameless politicians
Corrupt corporations

Heartless warlords
With unsheathed swords

While hearing your raucous laughs
I feel so ashamed on your behalf
labyrinth Nov 2021
If I am to speak freely
It’s the same thing really
Whether you are dumb
Or sharp, yet numb
labyrinth Jan 2022
All I want is one more chance
To live my life from scratch
labyrinth Nov 2020
Unless you start to read, think,
And read again, and think more
That long-awaited awakening
Will never knock on your door
labyrinth Jan 2021
As time passes by, you’re at the very threshold
Of Daemon’s pawn shop, where dignities are bought and sold
labyrinth Jul 2022
A *****, dark tunnel
Let it be called life
Less light than ever
Yet, there’s more strife
labyrinth Jan 2021
No one seems to be straight
Sincerity is a long-gone trait
NWO
labyrinth Dec 2021
NWO
They’ll soon openly forbid
Just about anything
Nesting in their orbit
What were you expecting
labyrinth Mar 2021
It is not self-confidence
Yet uses it as a disguise
Nor is it high self-esteem
Ego only roots in traumas
labyrinth Dec 2020
By the time mind knows better
Body has already slowed down
It must be the cost of getting wiser
Them wrinkles on the natural gown
ONE
labyrinth Mar 2021
ONE
Two is easy
So is three
Four, five
A hundred is easier
Or a million for that matter
One is the whole challenge
One, that is
It is I, me, myself in Roman Numerals
One is beginning
One is prologue
One is wholeness
One is unity
One is love
One is the whole story
When you become two
With any who
That means you is still you
On the other hand
When you become one
With anything or anyone
Say, a loved one
A special someone
Say a good one,
Say an instrument maybe
Or maybe a research of cure for cancer
Say anything you like
That’s where the adventure starts
One is everything
One is the whole story
One is one
The rest is made up of ones
Nothing like any other one
One is the world
One is the peace
One is God
One is Godlessness
One is universe
One is empty
As empty as none can ever be
One is everything
One is nothing
Nothingness counts by the way
More than you can imagine
Yet, one matters even more
If it wasn’t for one
Nothing would come to existence
And maybe never did
Have you become one
Or are you still half
Unfinished
Incomplete
Ungraduated
Still pending
Raw, Green, Unripe, Immature
Short, Missing, Lacking, Partial
Are you with me?
Are you listening to me?
Listen to me good
We all try to be one
First within the self
Then with anything or anyone
Listen to me
Listen to me good
Listen to me good my little one

Look at me
Your eyes will see
How strong I am
Talk to me
Your ears will see
How wise I am
Feel me
Your heart will see
How concerned I am
Touch me
Your hands will see
How frightened I am

Optics II

Look at me
Your eyes will see a strong guy
Talk to me
Your ears will see a wise guy
Feel me
Your heart will see a concerned guy
Touch me
Your hands will see a frightened guy
After all, I’m alright I guess
Just like anybody else
Which version do you like better
labyrinth Nov 2021
Maybe they’re
Nothing but ****
They’re however
My poems ******!

A heart that’s broken
Needs more oxygen
That is why it’s hung
In between two lungs
labyrinth May 21
Remember 9/11? Getting hits
On your soil was hard and new
I figure, however, nowadays it’s
Too much information for you
labyrinth Apr 2022
The only pandemic
The original illness
Alas, eerily chronic
Is cerebral laziness
labyrinth Mar 2021
Science, technology
Knowledge, industry
All rapidly blossom
Awesome

Friendship, happiness,
Prosperity, peace,
All slowly perish
Hellish
labyrinth Aug 2022
Without you I’m freezin’
With you forever at ease
Yet, you’re the sole reason
For my incurable disease
labyrinth May 2021
Humankind’s
Yet to learn
How to love
labyrinth Jan 2021
I was just looking for
A combination for my words,
Best possible sequence, you know
Not that I was achieving it
They chose to call me a poet
Not that I was deserving it
labyrinth Jan 2022
Of love or of fear
When poetry told
Now that, my dear
Is a sight to behold
labyrinth Feb 2021
I finish a poem I like
Light me up a cigarette
While patting my muse

I finish a poem I don’t like,
Light me up a cigarette
With a lot of blues

This poetry business
Will give me the cancer
And I’ll pay my dues
labyrinth May 18
Poet’s job is to put the words
With the backing of the muse
In such an order when heard
They’ll tell you about a bruise
labyrinth Nov 2021
You stole my heart and just left
No crime read the police report
Yet, we both knew it was a theft
And you were all along a poor sport
labyrinth Mar 2021
While making more weapons
Al they talk about is peace
Politicians with no exception
Belong to the eeriest species
labyrinth Nov 2020
Alright now! Let me get this straight
Before I make any further comments
It’s never for you and it’s never great
What they plan and/or recommend

Represented by the two smarties
The-most-advanced democracy
Provides you with only two parties
One hell of a job by aristocracy

Such a narrow diversification
Arranged with utmost diligence
Is getting voted for certification
For ever-increasing indigence

Either The Donkey or The Elephant
Meekly pick your side and move on
Real issues? Always almost irrelevant
In this open-air probation you’re on

Enron, dot-com crash or nine/eleven
Or housing crisis and Lehman Brothers
Corona killed millions, already in heaven
More is yet to come, plenty of others

There’s much to be said for this charade
You are always off-guard and unready
And too lazy, stupid, weak and afraid
To change any of this to the contrary

All abused openly, not even stealthy
There’s neither shame in this nor propriety
Democracy is certainly good and healthy
Only if it represents the real society

The art of calling everybody brother
While treating the most as the other
labyrinth Jul 2022
Stay in the hood
Safe and secure
A potential good
Will be obscured
labyrinth Jan 2022
I know I can change
The course of history
If you postpone or rearrange
My afterlife registry
labyrinth Oct 2021
Dear God
All I need
Is an IPod
A new one indeed
labyrinth Jun 2022
Heartless ones too, in fact
Could die of heart attack
labyrinth Oct 2021
I was simply stupid yesterday
Today, pretty much the same

Oh my laborer friend
You’re sleeping in both
Pajamas, jeans and
Your working clothe
labyrinth May 2021
When the number of truth-seekers
Exceeds the number of truth-benders
Only then, in that specific case
Will the world be a better place
labyrinth Nov 2022
Justice is an illusion
That will never prevail
Well prepared seclusion
Might be the sole avail
labyrinth Apr 2021
In our globe, the neighborhood
The number of the people, that are good
Based on the most recent polls
Are now way less than of the *******
labyrinth Sep 2022
Unless you do it
With inner flame
Crop of pursuit
Will be but, lame
labyrinth Jan 2022
I might be a bore
From time to time
Well, you’re, too, a boar
I mean that as in swine
labyrinth Feb 2021
Does believing start
Where knowing ends
labyrinth Feb 2022
you make me feel small
you make me feel cold
i won’t raise, i won’t call
i think i’ll just fold
labyrinth Mar 2021
If you insist
I admit I’m racist
When it comes
To all ignorants
labyrinth Mar 2021
If you’re a good person
It radiates. People know
If you’re a bad person
It radiates even more
labyrinth Feb 2021
First there was nothing, but oligarchs
I might as well end the poem right here
Because the second is still yet to come
Regimes are not to create happinesses
They’re disguises to handle the masses
labyrinth Jan 29
We were only passing by
They forced us to comply
labyrinth Apr 2021
Your regret’s actually worth a ****
Unless of course you learn from it
