Them playing,
The devil inside
from the carnival
down the street.
All the bleak
eyes wandering
through the
empty crowd,
looking for
love or dope;
something to change
their perception.

between you and me,
i'm still rooting for us.

maybe not in this lifetime,
but in the end.

In a world with
pain sorrow suffering
grief corruption mourning
angst yearning loving fighting,
where are the poets who bring us
joy through their delightful writings?

Become more present
You can become
More of everything

Trying to get
over someone
you never had?

Yeah,
that's the worst
kind of struggle.
