Walked through a field full of llamas
Wooly babies, papas, and mamas
But these llamas were purists
And spat on this tourist
Turning excitement to trauma
"Don't you want to pet the llamas too?!"
"No thanks."
"Come on! Why not?!
"OK, fine."
*five seconds later I'm covered in llama saliva

LLimerick 2:
https://hellopoetry.com/poem/2619328/llimerick-2/
Passions are liken’d best to floods and streams:
The shallow murmur, but the deep are dumb;
So, when affection yields discourse, it seems
The bottom is but shallow whence they come.
They that are rich in words, in words discover
That they are poor in that which makes a lover.

In this life
I find it best.
To keep your heart
inside your chest.

The emotions you show
are taken and kept.
By the evil people you
think you know best.

They’ll rip your soul
into tiny pieces.
Because now they know
your biggest weakness.

So take my advice
because I know best.
Keep your heart
inside your chest.
For those who want to save a lot of heartache and pain
can’t you hear
that in every ‘goodbye’ we tell ourselves
there lies a screaming ‘please don’t go’?
