Every day same old same
Another possible creation
Gone down in flames
Zoe Mae Jul 2021
Last I night I slept on your ceiling
It was the most ghastly feeling
to be looking down and watch you roll around with some other human being
Now when I'm in my own bed
I look up and see you instead
But I know you'd never sleep on my ceiling

The sky lets off steam
Fireworks fill the air
They light up my corner
It's really not fair
Cuz I like to hide
Especially what's inside
But a summertime thunderstorm
Exposes all lies
Zoe Mae Jul 2021
Seething with feelings
Staring at ceilings
Telling myself
I'd rather be dreaming

Stick out your arm
And purposely harm
I promise it's worth it
Don't be alarmed

Let the warmth flow
From head to toe
It won't cost you much
40 bucks and your soul
Reminiscing about the good old days

He gets very lonely writing for an audience of one

It's tiring knowing the ending before it's even begun

And he claims that he just does it for fun

But deep down he knows he wants to please everyone

Eyes spilling over trembling cheeks
leave in their wake purple streaks
A feeling as though my ears are full of cotton
Trying to speak, but it seems I've forgotten
Stomach drops, the nausea begins
Knees give out, legs cave in
Is this the effect of undying love
Or perhaps the result of lack thereof

Meet me on top of the ant hill
The one where the sand caves in
We can settle this score
If we meet on the floor
And we'll see who's the bigger one then
