Oh God, how lucky I am!
This morning, I went out as the **** crowed
I've seen what I saw every day,
but I had never noticed.

The birds sang, the sky stretched with all shades
of blue, yellow and white;
Northerly winds coming and whispering in my ear,
that somewhere a beautiful soul is awaking from sleep                          
and maybe, she's looking at the very same,
divine pictures carved in clouds as I am.

How lucky I am! I own nothing, but I have everything,
I am only a little man, and still I am part of the world
and of the marvelous godly spark that burns bright
in the endless void of the Universe, cradled and protected
by the invisible cosmic forces that, from far away,
today, have brought me the wind .

Surrounded in a moment
Drinking whiskey in a bar
The world reflected in a mirror
Observing from a far
There's no knowledge of the future
No guilt from the past
Just this single moment
Suspended - then gone so fast
Sad songs on the radio
Faces full of pain
The shrouding of the sky
Brings a threat of rain
Surrender to this moment
And forget about the blame
Live this life completely
As things never stay the same

I sit by the lake,
                                 on the lush green grass,
gently try to break
                                  my inner thoughts,
and silently assimilate
                                 chirping of birds,
rhythmic swaying of trees
                                 by the sweet breeze,
stare at the white cotton clouds
                                 spread on the chimerical blue
and try to soak the pure dew
                    till the morning remains new.

My aim today
Is simply to
Make you smile
It's what I do
As you sit
Behind your desk
Take a moment
To digest
This little rhyme
It's sent with love
To wrap you up
Just like a glove
Your day's mundane
Your job's a bore
But soon you'll walk
Out of the door
Into the sun
Where lovers kiss
Under the trees
And you'll feel bliss
But if all else fails
I hope with grace
I've put a smile
Upon your face!
