How many opportunities
Do we miss
Because we're too afraid
To take the risk
cellophane hearts, loving in parts
letting emotions be replaced
once numbness starts, feeling departs
every thought is on the chase

feeling so stamped on

cellophane dreams, hushing the screams
smacking thoughts that defeat
like reality vaccines, by any means
every day is on repeat
I was never a poet
until i looked into your eyes
and saw the sun rise.
And suddenly I was able
To put the pieces of our broken love story
Into words

I held them in my hands
So gently, so they would not shatter
And blew them to the sky
Never to return again

No where in the world I'll find
Someone quite like that love of mine
Forever floating in the wind
Our love is gone but will never end

By Chloe Elizabeth
Every poem is precious
Words carry the
Deepest emotions
Of our heart
Experiences, soul stirring
Makes one restless
Until those feelings are
Expressed on blank paper
Absorbing the impact
Of those strong emotions
Poet holding the pen
Feeling the ink’s undercurrent
Every moment
Getting drawn in by the force
To let the words out
Thus, poetry is birthed
Much turmoil and passion
Encapsulates every poetry
Finally, we see the order of words
In the form of poetry
And the soul of poetry
Sketched with conviction
Spreading the relevant message
i know he never loved me, but i relished every second that he pretended
