Thenay Cora May 2014
Nights go by.
     And I love her less
           each morning.
Time can heal any broken heart.
He
Thenay Cora Oct 2014
He
He has no dreams, she said,
No pain passed,
No hope lost.

There are no fires in his heart,
No longing,
No desire.

He feels no shame* she said,
Not now,
Not ever

He is my guilt, she said,
*Not lover
Not in love.
Thenay Cora Dec 2014
The tears she cries
    never reach my lips.
Because the tears she cries
    get lost in the deeps.
Thenay Cora May 2014
She paints at her nails
Furiously
With every drop of pink
Desperatly
Covering her every inch.

Silly girl.
Have you forgotten that
Inevitably
Your colours will chip
Regrettably
Leaving your grin faded
*Terribly
My first poem posted here. First of many, i hope..
Thenay Cora Dec 2014
Loving her
was like
  kneeling
in front of
a stone
and praying
for it
to come
to life.

Jade iris.
Black waves.
  Red velvet.
   Sweet lies.
     All mine.

I loved the feel of your name on my tongue:
C-A-R-L-A.

Rolling out of my chest, my lungs
Long for it.
C-A-R-L-A.

Falling out of my teeth, leaving my mouth,
My warm breath carries it
away from the bleeding heart.
C-A-R-L-A.

My fingers type your name ashamed.
They will never feel it my skin again.
The wind floats it from my sight,
As you take her hand.
C-A-R-L-A.
La multi ani, pisico.

You wake up to the sunrise.
whose bed is this?

Her back is arched against your chest,
I wonder what her name is

Your face feels burried in her hair
drunk me likes brunettes

Your glasses on her nightstand
please dont wake up before I leave

The door creaking while she sleeps.
I'd hate being her drunk mistake

You wonder the streets to your home.
*I wonder who wakes up in your bed in the morning.
Your bed was the closest one to home.

To draw the arch of your lips
Would be blasphemy.
Thenay Cora May 2014
To see life dripping out of her
Like red wine on the lips
Of the woman he loved.

To see their child slipping,
Her belly throbbing out of time,
Emptying the woman he loved.

To see the promised life
Never living, slim as a whisp
Out of the woman he loved.

To see their daughter
Still and not breathing
Held by the woman he loved.
Sleep tight, my beautiful daughter.
Thenay Cora Jun 2014
The song of your loneliness
echoes inside my ventricles.
-thud-thud-
Thenay Cora Jun 2014
Those sad eyes of yours
are tearing me
to pieces.
Put me back together.
Thenay Cora Dec 2014
Her skin slipped
-over mine-
In silk roads
Of sweetness.
