Stellar
Lights flickering, palm trees swaying
The wind whistles in soprano the same song she sings you to sleep

Candles burning, stars scintillating
She panics with the way your eyes swallow her entirety; She stutters, cannot move an inch

Mellow music playing, lovers dancing
She asks, "How  do  you  touch  my  hands  but  never  really  hold  them?"
You  smirk.

Heartbeats racing, inner thoughts screaming
Her questions are answered by the hint you give; This is a one-sided love affair

Clocks ticking, sun rising
The night fades but his scent lingers in the room; She is an unfinished sentence

With the things that we know now,
and the knowledge we've lost.
you say things are better,
but what was the cost?

If knowledge is power,
then why are we weak?
Who's really in charge here?
Is the answer I seek.

We've become so corrupt,
conditioned with lies.
We watch our world suffer,
yet we can't close our eyes.

but there may be hope,
in my life time at least.
the wheels of Industry,
should be dead; deceased.

The banks will fall first,
and then comes the war.
But the sun will rise again,
out of the blood and the gore.

We will rebuild our homes,
only this time by hand.
No more machines,
will be made in this land.

It is not too late,
we can always restart.
rebuild nations a new,
but this time we'll be smart.

You know I'm in the twylight of my years
Not a problems, I will keep writing for one year or ten
It doesn't really matter
We have kids here who write
I ask you to encourage tlhem
Because they once were you
Nervous, uncertain
Me, I don't care just as long as they write
Young poets are the future of this site
Young people are the future of our countries

Yes, a hundred years ago they crossed those ****** fields
Boys of many nations
British, French,Germans, Indians, Africans. Eventually Americans
Did they fight for patriotism. No. For most the army was the only job they could get
And so it is today
Just remember
everyone loves conflict
in one way or another
Sleepless nights
when I've
laid in
the thick darkness
listening to the
sirens scream
throughout
the city.

Drawn out sleepless
nights ,
nights that I spent
conjuring up
images of better
times.

Sleep deprived
lonely nights,
nights  I spent
counting
someone else's
legless sheep.

Nights I spent
wasting hours
by thinking of
nothing but
the past.

Unknown
How I wish to float upon your breast
Soft and placid as a glass lake, windless
Breathless

But to delve into valleys
Unexplored, keeper of buried treasures
I trek throughout, wandering

Aimless deliverance, unspoken promises
Intricacy of intimate embrace
I weave in my fingers, passion

Spill me, leave kisses like ghosts
Translucent memories
Moist with seduction

Delicious droplets of enticement
Proposing infatuation, falling from your lips
Illustrious little allures

Swim through me
Serpentine twisting contours
Wrap me in flesh, consumption

Stares, to reiterate a longing
Convey this truthfulness
Honeyed words of desire

Think not to deny yourself this moment
Make love to white whispers
Embedded in the mouth of temptation

Take no responsibility
Let movement be freely expressed
Body caressed

Comforting red embers
Of lustful flame
Spin tales of time and tryst

Inhale the sweeter aromas
Entwine with immaculacy
Reciprocate sensuality, a pair

Two
Two with a twist
And many other turns
For my love
Leaving the verdant valley
The brook with fresh water
Cutting across the greens
Where acorns gifted oaks
Could not quench my thirst
Shades of oaks seemed weary
Started the journey away
From the tranquil paradise
Looking for crystal rocks
Lacerating my feet, as I climb
No shades and clear water
Harsh sun and putrid air
Leaving me exhausted
Dreaming of my valley again
I have come too far
Away from all the quietude
Looking for precious crystals
Dazzled over my greedy mind
Leaving behind paradise
Now wandering through bareness
They sat in blankets as they tried to keep warm
penniless with no heating and no coal to burn
while outside they heard the violent storm
the blizzard of snow and ice all churn.

Slowly they both began to freeze to death
there was no-one to help or ease their plight
they were just poor and lonely old sisters
who would probably die in the dark of this night.

They were just another statistic of winter
a cold one much worse than some others
they had eked out their money on eating
so they now huddled together like lovers.

There are so many who suffer in winter
and we really should spare them a thought
we should all keep an eye out for our neighbour
as help due to their pride is not sought.

It is dawn now and the sisters are frozen
one died and the other breathes slow
but there is no-one to even take notice
and in a short while like her sister she’ll go.
