Once there was a pale china doll
Walking slowly under her red parasol
China doll, why so pale?
China doll, you are to be cared
Wipe your tears, the moon’s soon to wane
Summer’s up not long, days with no more rain
Once there was a blooming china doll
Walking happily under her red parasol
China doll, why so blithe?
China doll, she’ll never be pale.

Like the night, pale and wan
Like the cold, bitter and wary
I see you- I saw nothing but you.
No more than an ashen memory.
This is where I stand.
From here you are no more than yesterday.
You are no more.
I see you, I saw nothing but you.
No more than a speck which made me cry.
This is where we end.
From now on you are no more than what my heart can recall.
You are no more.

Another day goes by...

I look at my reflection
And I haven't grown,
The same eyes, wrought with boredom--
Makes me wonder what part of me was sold.

I hear the sound of blood flow
As my heart thrums in a simpering rhythm;
It gives me an assurance that I live,
But makes me question whether I'm truly alive?

I feel a slumber has taken hold,
It's got me where it hurts most;
I can't move away from the pain,
And that scares me!

A painful sleep, never waking, never dreaming,
Just suspended in simple stillness...
This dull affliction makes me wonder,
Will I ever remember what it's like to be awake?
