While he was alive
they called him an animal
chained him with claims
to paint him a demon.
When they needed him
he was a credit to men.
When they were done
he was there to condemn.

As long as the conditions are met
she'll love only him.
While he can give
what she needs
he can stay.
He won't be
replaced.
But good men are a dime a dozen
and easy to attain.
