To spite
The space and time
That stretches between us
I fill it up with poet stardust
Until it glows bright
And burns hot as a nebula
So that no matter the distance
You always feel my presence
And the heat of my touch
Until we meet again
Two stars on collision
Course set for love.

We were on cloud nine,
You called me sunshine,
but that was when
you were mine.
Concept: The girl is reminiscing and missing the boy.

One day,
He got Her Daisies and Daffodils.
Wrapped out of the most lustrous paper.
Thorns, dead leaves, butterflies, he didn't mind.
He got her attention and kiss her lip-locked.

Between darkness and diurnal,
They are dancing beneath the tranquil sky.
He got her to love him.
Hurt, pain, sacrifice, she didn't mind.
He was hers that night and the day after that.

Night collapsed, days gone by.
She was oblivious.
He was not around.
She was herself.
He was not.
It turned to a make believe facade.

A dead romance.
A broken vow.
How could be once inseparable
Is now fragmented and hopeless.
How could the love have departed and shuttered into pieces.

The flowers have died.
The sky turned blue and gray at night,
Even morning scares her now.
She let him go.
He didn't chase her back.

Im back with this piece. Words are very much missed. I'll always come back.
A house perched
On solid foundation
Provides shelter for a generation.

Homes aren't made of brittle bricks,
Wanning woods or crumbling stones;
You can't raze a well-built home.

A divided house will not stand,
A listing castle on shifting sands.

The peaks, dales and family travails,
At home are not abnormal,
They're common and diurnal;
Yet the undaunted home prevails.

Your house comprises various rooms
For eating, sleeping, and mundane routines.

Homes furnish rooms with smiles and tears,
And gatherings throughout your years,
To be shared or on one's own,
The choice is offered,
You're not alone.

Houses grow proud, though gratifying,
With amenities truly satisfying.

Homes swell with smells of love,
The sounds of children snug above,
A sense that all is safe and sure;
This day has given more than enough.

Houses get tidied, cleaned and aired,
Decorated for special affairs;

Homes are fingers, toes and hair,
Hampers, dishes, and underwear.
Its doors lead to who knows where.
Doors to let you out;
Doors to let me hear
When you're back again;
Welcoming your return.

Homes fill us
With memories
Houses never will.
For my daughter's new house and home.

If only your skin was a lighter shade
Here, this bleach might come to your aid
If only your lips weren't so full
Maybe the boys would like you at school
If only your hair wasn't so *****
Here's some caustic chemicals to make it more slinky
If only your ******* weren't so large
Here's the number to a surgeon, call and see what they charge
If only your waist was smaller (just a few inches)
Here's a corset, see how tiny it cinches?
If only your *** wasn't so round
How 'bout you run some laps to lose a few pounds?
If only you'd get your nose out of books
I bet you'd garner more stares for your looks
If only you'd change your curious personality
I hear the masses prefer banality

If only you'd see me for me
Do you know how content I'd be?
If you can't do that
Then leave me be.
A collection of things people have said to me over the years. I have developed a cynical complex because of it.

You know
when you walk past a piano
and you rest your fingers on the keys
absentmindedly
and you play a tune
with no prior knowledge
of how to play
and the tune sounds nice
like something you had planned

that’s what it’s like
running into you
