"Good evening lad", jeered the bear,
"What brought you to my chair?",
"To unwind from my fatigues", Kronos replied,
"Care to sacrifice some of your time?"

"You may call me Kronos, wandering spare",
"Names Bowen, Bowen the bear",
"Stories of my travels would you hear?",
"Sure, whatever, I'm all ears."

Kronos and Bowen chattered through the night,
Tales of Kronos' flights and Bowen's fights,
Both shook, brass and paw,
Agreed to meet on the next dawn.

A tiny civilization hidden in the trees,
The critters gave Kronos a little tease,
In our land he found a place to stay,
" I'll stay here a while ", he says.

Feral the fox governs this home,
He invites Kronos to his cave in friendly tone,
Around the little town Kronos toured,
As dusk calls, the critters gathered at The Great Tree's floor.

A little festival to celebrate the day,
The critters danced around and play,
After singing songs, Kronos took a break,
There at his seat is where love is in his wake.

Rays of light as the sun shines,
Kronos, long since awake for a glass of wine,
Knocks on the door echoes through the wood,
And there Bowen the bear stood.

"Good morning", Kronos cheered,
"To the forest!", Bowen endeared,
"What are we gonna do if I may ask?"
"To look for treasure will be our task!"

'This is my chance to seek Earth's treasure', Kronos thought,
Together they enter the forest without fraught,
The forest glow in vibrant green,
But not until they met an odd machine.

Oh Kronos

Oh Kronos, you left me behind,
Speeding down the track to Oblivion
The seconds, the minutes, the hours fly by
And yet your hands pull further from mine

Dear Time, leaving me to wander,
What depths are there left to ponder?
Leviathan will consume us all
While you wait at the end with the glaring gall.

Speak to me through the threads dear tourist,
Lend me a sign, a clue, a hint you friend and altruist.
I cannot be left to drift in the futile battles already lost
My heart and soul are the final tokens to pay the dear cost.

You would leave your Rhea to suffer her children’s slaughter?
Eating the small things she holds dear, only to satisfy your lustful fear?
Time, hand me no more. Lead me elsewhere than your gut.
I am not to be fodder to the fireless man waiting at the end of time.
Kronos = Titan. God of the ages and time in Greek Mythology. Zeus' father.
Rhea = Zeus' mother, hid Zeus away to prevent Kronos from eating him.
By David John Mowers

Oceanus, Acheron, Styx and Gyges, Phlegethon,

Phaeacians lament, mourn the loss, Scheria, dissolved in froths.

Virgil’s tale, found correct, a land too good, a nation wrecked,

Nausikaa, burn the ships; their minds released, cool airy nips,

Below the wave, watery grave, submerged to bottom, fathoms by stave,

Fathoms some more, until the whorl, descending to, another world.

Through Omphalos, to Land of Sleep, awaits a beast, where time has ceased,

Darkness here, underworld, cold and frigid, below the whirl,

In solemn grave, souls released, judged and counted, by the beast,

Deeper than, the deep itself, past drowning fairies and dying elves,

Who did mourn them? Those golden men, magic mariners, Mino's kin?

What wrong was seen? What vice not true? What awful sin? What did they do?

One thousand years, first black age, Two thousand more, to find the stage,

Cast off Aries and cast Orion, to find beginning, of Golden Lion.

Man of Heavens, Beast agrees, Bull of Sky, Ox of seas,

Land of Punt, Land of Éire, Ogyges blue, hearts on fire,

All the seashores, all the mines, Tribe of Dan, from ancient times,

Port of Sais, Port of Thera, Port of Lagash, bygone era,

Sailor’s horse, Minotaur, a lyre is crying, strummed guitar, nation dying, abattoir.

Ochre foams to sanguine depth, there they rested, where Kronos slept,

He’ll never answer, he doesn’t care, we’ll never know, if this was fair.

Our hearts in sadness, hands on the gates! I curse you Poseidon!

. . .and your Sea of Fates!

Once upon a time,
A single star shone with pride,
Its light let our moments flow,
He is Kronos, our time's soul.

One day destruction fell,
He bid his fellow stars farewell,
Towards our land he ventured,
To seek for Earth's treasure.

The stratosphere's power he does not know,
Losing his body but not his soul,
Flames blazed his remains forming brass,
Into what we call an hourglass.
A short story working in progress. This is the tale of the God of Time reformed into  an hourglass and traverse our land. Hope you'll enjoy ^_^

Title "La Kronos Huevo" means The Egg of Chronos.

The prettiest goddess, Aphrodite,
Got hit in the face by a pie,
and oh my, she wasnt seen till a long time

Aprodite fell in love with Ares,
he was a *** full of jelly,
Because melly didnt come out

Aphrodite lived an eternal life,
but Kronos cut her in pieces
That is Aphrodite's life

I hear thunder
No you don't,
The voices in your head
want some more

You're lying!
I am aware of my blunders.
I can hear thunder!
No,  you can't
you're just deaf
and without a plan

You're just inviting trouble
Everyone is trying to hurt me.
My only defence is the thunder
I hear it. I feel it. Zeus loves me.
Mountains tremble in fear.
He is ready with his bolt.
It's a message
you don't see it
yet
but when thunder shakes the ground
you shall hold your breath.
Talk about Hermes, Apollo
and everyone else.
The thunder shall do us no harm.
Olympus was never safe.
Aphrodite knows how to sell her body
There will be war, my friend.
The titans will rise.
Kronos will escape from Tartarus
and attack in stealth.

You dummkopf,
you have no idea what you have been talking
Don't argue over Father of God's bolt!
God of the skies.
Traveling by air? You might die.
Poseidon can make your way back difficult
This behaviour of yours was very typical.
*You ignore your mind when it plays tricks on you
Oh dear, you really are a fool
I have no idea why I wrote this. Greek mythology obsession perhaps
Dummkopf means stupid head in German.
