I'd always taken the splinters out of my eyes
it allows me to see clearly
that I should leave others to take the logs out of theirs...
I love the time of year, in the town where I  live,
When dark fluffy rainclouds block out the sun,
Raindrops sprinkle down in periodic fits of showers
And the colors of life look more brilliant than ever
It gives me the feeling of living in a fishbowl
The air itself seems to adopt a verdant green hue
Signaling the rainy season is in full swing.
I love you all. Hope you're doing well. God bess your day!

I would like to be among the white clouds as it snow.
Just float above the earth and it's people.
If someone can deal me some wings
maybe two pair so I can keep up.
Or move faster than the birds or the angels.
Being this high can be scary until you become experience.
Their always that fear of falling then its gone when you get use to it.
Will I need more wings to touch the sun or to really see the Earth or even make it to heaven.
Or to many wings will pull me back and crash down.
Not my best work but the metaphors

I'm a child and adult.
I don't see it as an insult.

I'm a girl and a boy.
I'm a tool and you're my toy.

I'm kind and sadistic.
You would see me sick.

I'm real and I'm fake.
I always lie for my sake.

I'm vage and I'm raw.
I never tell what I saw.

I'm positively a pessimist.
I'm the worst on your list.

I'm a prisoner of the free.
And I will never see.

I only have 5 minutes
To spare this poetry
Here it goes:

5.
I do not wish to be seen
Said the old man in me
So leave me alone
Cause I don't want to be

4.
For I've been running away
This is what I hate
And I envy everyone else
Who are not in the same fate.

3.
What have I become?
Where will I go?
The questions are left unanswered
And I've searched high and low.

2.
To be strong once more
In my world full of doubt
To be strong while I lose
In my latest bout.

1.
I wish I had more time
Just like before
I only have 5 minutes
And I wish I had more.

beauty took your eyes
as we flew the dark skies
a fated brief juncture
our smiles shared
absent their disguise
an iridescent shine in the night
never counting in time
the view of our dreams
nibble’s like soft rain
brush tender on my face
this place I keep safe
to be forever mine
a wager with the devil
paid with free will
to know why
beauty took your eyes

When I was a child my father was just short of a Hero. Tall, strong and young. As we get older Dads become so normal and we see them as just human. I myself have refused to grow old as long as I can. My Father is 79 years old he is no longer the young man but an older version I barely recognize. Yesterday I paid my dad a visit, I can now look him in the eye's he has lost inches of his height. No longer the vision of youth. Our visit was good and talking to him I can still see a glimpse into the Dad of my youth. He speaks of my mother and his beloved second wife most the time I was there, they are both deceased. When I left I stopped briefly to write this line. " Beauty took his eyes, their almost all he sees, besides me " If you are still reading I thank you and God Bless
