Blue eyes, blonde hair, red lips, intense stare,
self doubt, dark soul, your eyes bore a hole,
hard kiss, quick ****, over fast, no luck,

leaving now, going home, so cold, so alone,
shiver shake earthquake, so unreal, so fake,
tears trickle down my face, so slow, quicken pace,
still there on the brink, another drug, another drink,
block you out, so numb, want to hide, want to run,

Far away, leave it all, the more i think, the more i fall,
Shut my mind, shut you out, feeling sick, full of doubt,
Too hard, you’re always there, look at you, try not to stare,
Fake smile, cold hello, nervous laugh, hard swallow,
little hope drains away, another moment, another day,

Time goes on, hope it heals, because I hate how it feels,
But for now, I crave your touch, I want you now, miss you so much.

6 has a purpose.
6 is afraid of 7 because 7 ate 9.
6 does ***** things with 9.
6 is mature.
6 is ****.

5 makes you sound too young.
And it's not good for much.
Like your inexperienced self.

6 is one inch closer to 7.
17's the perfect age.
17 is your age.

Things I Don't Know How To

bathe the sick, the elderly, too weak to bathe themselves

raise children right, equality to tender n' tough love

believe tomorrow will be better, every day

look in the mirror and say good enough, proud

leave something of me that will be cherished it for its universality

drive soul weakening jealousy from my brain

one I know,
is that two is the greatest idea ever,
and that every touch makes me just brave enough
to try things I don't know how to do

Why did you have to rip our child from the womb ?
Why did you have to send him to his eternal tomb?
Why couldn't you let me be a happy father?
You say you have an explanation but don't even bother.

Would having our child having their first breath really be a crime?
Why do you look at it as stopping it just in time?
No matter how you look at it you took a life
Doesn't matter if it was by scalpel or knife.

You ended a gift from God
You act like it doesn't bother you
But I know that's a facade
Because that could never be true.

Now I pick up my pen
So that you can see the beauty within
For a child is a beautiful gift
If you take it away you create a permanent rift.

Some say it is a choice
But I say we need to hear their unspoken voice
Let them live
For we do not know if your sin God can forgive.
This was a poem written because of my challenge and because I read a story where despite the father's protests a mother had their unborn son aborted because she did not want a kid at that time. A fetus is a life so no one should end it.

When the heart
is in a state
of collapse, it
failsafes
to stone. It
Hardens, then
Breaks, it
Explodes,
but not
Into pieces,
Just inside,
It releases pain
Within.
Don’t
Be wary of explosion
Fear,
The unexploded.

I'd love to love you
and hold
your hand.
We could
pick sunflowers and
I'd put them
in your hair
while you made faces
at the sun.
We'd crunch
through orange leaves
and rub red
noses together
to keep
warm.
I'd make you
hot chocolate
and wrap you up
in my heaviest
quilt under the stars,
and in the
morning
we'd find ourselves
wound up
tightly
and so very content.
But only if you'd
let me love you.

When she hugs him.
She'll snuggle her face into his shoulder,
the safest place to peek at the world, if her eyes weren't closed.
A smile will be on her lips.
And after she presses herself against him,
no space between their puzzle-piece bodies,
her arms, one over his other shoulder fingers wound into the hair at the base of his neck the other climbing up his back hand grasping his shoulder as if its grip were the only thing holding her on this planet fabric of his shirt gathered under her palm,
she'll gently pass her smiling lips along his neck,
to the delicious hollow below his ear,
where his jawline begins,
shallow intake of breath.
Only then will she allow him,
his arms wrapped around her desperate body,
to gently pull her back, one millimeter,
and touch their soft lips together.
