I season my lies with grains of truth
which make the average story worth its salt
it touches me between the tongue and tooth
so every falsehood shines without a fault

what's true is slippery banana peel
your story flips the coin of one I tell
believing only one side shows what's real
buys you a ticket to a special layer of hell

so hold your facts lightly let them fly
watch their feathers turn from royal blue to gray
know you know nothing 'til the day you die
for truth is shaped from brittlest of clay

Truth is lighter than the tiniest of flea
its bitter bite jars us into harsh reality

Yeah, I'm fine
I will always tell you
Never believe me
It's the only lie that's true

I'm surrounded by light
I try to keep it on
But up in here
It's already off, it's gone

I never knew
It'd be this hard
Every time I'm alone
The wound is etched and scarred

I wish I could tell you
I don't think you know
The rip, it tears
Every time you go

I reach out
I'll go above and beyond
But it only pierces deeper
When you don't respond

But don't worry
No burden to you
This isn't your problem
I just wish you knew

For now, I keep my hands out
I'm capable of keeping control
Arms stretched fingers spread palms up
Waiting to be grabbed, by just one soul

But the longer I wait
The older time grows
I. Keep. Sinking. Down.
Where insanity shows

I’ve learned how to bike
Learned how to write
And I also learned how to cook
Where are you?

I’ve mastered drawing
I’ve finished high school
I’ve been practicing music
Where are you?

I’ve got into college
Lots of friends, lots of enemies
One even became my boyfriend
Where are you?

I worked double shift
My grades are failing
And my boyfriend cheated on me
Where are you?

I’m now alone
Thinking in this dark room,
Filled with doubt and fear,
Still wondering
Where are you?

I just want you to know
This three word question
Only means one thing

I wish you were here.
How come you never looked back?

I am like the color yellow.
Because loneliness is a close fellow.
If you get too much of me at one time,
You will soon be at the end of the line.

I am like the color yellow.
But today I'm feeling a bit blue.
I wish people liked me, like they do you.

I am like the color yellow.
Good in moderation.
Bad when used in excessive decoration.
The color yellow is a lonely color.
Yet all the other colors are so much duller.

I am like the color yellow.
Because loneliness is a close fellow.
Feels good to be back. I feel really ****** rn so hopefully this poem helps a little bit.

Nevermind
Sadness creeping up the spines
Empty skeletons wine and dine
Hollow chests and missing eyes
Embracing till the end of time
Carried by stardust to the afterlife
Particles shimmer and catch the light
Bones crumble ash to ash
Gone like memories of the past
The love they thought would always last
Sweeps away almost just as fast
Caught between eachother's arms
Love hidden away, safe from harm
Glowing softly amidst the dark
Never ever to drift apart
