Wax poetic with me and
we'll nurture a new language.

We can speak in love together
while we wait for light of the dead star
to stop shining hatred on our faces.

I'm nibbling sunshine fantasies on psychedelic manatees
as I swim through formalities and mudpits of vanity
while temper approaches maximum capacity
I pray for no casualties

I'm dribbling periwinkle moonshine daffodils
as I crawl through sweltering deserts of dis-ease and sunchills
they're a bothersome blister singing softly to a dragon
they're a kaleidescope periscope horoscope for the dead

Sometimes I'm afraid of the dark...

but I shouldn't exorcise the past.
I won't burn it at the stake.

I should accept its every demon
and make friends with them.

That's all they want.
Friends.
Some love.

I should really respect them.
They've helped me pave the way
to this very moment.

Sometimes...
I'll whistle or sing,
when I can't see in the dark.

I used to throw blind punches.

Turn on the light and
I'd look like a real silly person
fighting with their shadow.

The melodies keep me flowing
through space and time.

I really shouldn't fight with the present.
I should unwrap it forever as an infinite gift.

We should waltz 'til we fall.

The future is an unlit cellar.
I want to run inside to get what I need and split.

But when it comes time...

I will dance
with the darkness
and sing softly
holy matrimony
into its ears.

I will whistle
divine praise
into its mouth.

Let's sing 'til we faint.

I'm just as afraid of the light
as I am of the dark.

Let's dance 'til we die.

I'm just as in love with them both.

I have to maintain perfect rhythm,
impeccable coordination,
to stay in the pocket

It can be hard to do that when
the only person accompanying you
is yourself.

and other times
it's just as hard
with an orchestra.
infinitely moreso,
at times...

Two things're for sure
If you can't play in rhythm with others
It's probably easier for you to play in rhythm with yourself.
and If you can't play in rhythm with yourself
It's probably easier for you to play in rhythm with others.

But if you're not in time
the only way you will be is
if someone falls out of it with you

interlacing faces
dilate pupils as
fingers intertwine
between synchronized paces,
cold walks and kind smiles

I feel a tremble coming on and warm shimmery bubbles radiate right through me as electric caresses and magical messages cause goosebumps to rise like mountain ranges on celestial bodies

I like you, you
mystical water gazelle

you swing sweetly
the tides of my seas
and sing softly the
stars of my skies

Love
           poem rhyme
with a sky blue
wondrous
                  white
puffy
glory

hues of day, yester-

mysticisms
                  arranged,
in brightest color
                     (alphabeticaly ordered)
which-

             man denies.

letters
of hopefulness-
                        arrange
right
         or wrong
                        in song
express,
the searing depths.

a lover's stare,
                or thy flowering
                               innocence.

From dawn,
         to dusk,
      nothing left out,
love-
         so calm
                       so eloquent-
A hair fell from my eyebrow
and landed in my eye,
it caused my eye to water
just like when you cry.

I cleaned it with my finger
which made this small hair slip
it landed underneath my nose,
just above my lip.

I hadn't noticed where it went
it lay there on my face,
and over time it rooted
and then multiplied this place.

I started scratching at the spot,
I thought I had a rash
but when I looked more closely
I found I had a moustache.

It was as I point out to you
protruding out of the skin
and spread out over many days
and now its on my chin.

I know I didn't have a rash
and it was as I feared
I never only had moustache,
now I had a beard.

This spreading still continues
and I don't think that it's fair
for from my head to toenail
I am now covered in hair.

I've tried so hard to cut it off
and every time I fail
but what is really worrying
is now I have a tail.

So if you see a hair that's loose
and resting on your face
I do suggest you take it off
before it grows some place.

Cause when this hair gets rooted
you see how it can take over
and it is so embarrassing
when people call you Rover.

I don't know what is happening
but when I'm in the park,
I run around, I lick my nuts,
I growl and I bark.

In French,
you don't actually say
I miss you
you say
you are missing from me
- you are essential to my being.
you are like an *****, a limb, my bloodstream.
I cannot be without you.

how incredibly poetic.
