I wished upon a star tonight
And mentioned your name

That you my dear might notice me
Before you give your love away
Some say leave well enough alone
But there's to much at stake

I wished upon a star tonight
And mentioned your name

The star shot across the Southern sky
As I thought of you

You travel through my heart and mind
With the little things you do
How it is I feel right now
You haven't got a clue

As I saw that star tonight
And I thought of you

I wish I may I wish I might
Wish upon each star

On the edge of the night
Standing where you are
Where it is you draw me in
Into your work of art

I wish I may I wish I might
Wish upon each star
with Soviet war ships
sitting off Australia's North Coast
the Russian President
is making no idle boast

shirt fronting is a phrase
he doesn't like to hear
that is why he's boated in
the heavy artillery gear

a more diplomatic approach
by Mr Abbott should've been employed
instead of using a lexicon
which so badly annoyed

in all matters relating
to foreign affairs
the participants must exercise
more stringent lingual care

for if a wrong word is uttered
woes can come to pass
which may ignite tensions
and cause an impasse

Little firefly* guide me
Tonight
Through the darkness
This foreboding night
Let your little light
Illuminate,
Gleam,
Glows
Upon the darkness that wishes
To consume your little light,
I will follow you where ever you may go,
Leading me to safety
On this I wish & trust & hope,
But then consuming darkness
My guide,
Swallowed
By
Night
Then I see stars,
Shooting upon the heavens,
Then closer I see them
Tiny
Little
Stars
Are but my friend with company,
I walk as they dance upon darkness
Illuminating my way,
My little friends in the darkness
These flickers of light,
Pictures of lights in the sky
Amuse,
Laughter,
Comfort
In this veil of black
The time has pasted I am now at home
As a parting gift,
A radiant show of little flickering lights
Then into the distance they fly
My little lights in the darkness
That helped a weary traveller home on this dark night.

Happiness  is Love
But brings sandness Over a word
                                                     EVery moment cherished
This word brings Either emotion in to the world.

The wind does blow across
Chimed bells,
Each plays to the wind
Taking it in as if inhaling
Notes,
Harmony,
Melody
Exhaled with each that dances
With the breeze, that graces upon
Each chime,
Like a stream it surrounds
Travels in-between,
Metal,
Bamboo,
High
Above to capture each playful note,
They will dance to play tunes
For each other,
What is one with out the other, as music
Plays to itself and those around,
For when the wind ceases,
Then both will be still
Till the next time they touch each other.

You will experience
Many emotions,
Some may tease with
Thoughts
Of
Woe,
Others May lift you high
Before Letting go,
All life is emotion,
We just have to
Ride
Each
Through,
Till one day ends and other starts *anew.

Tears for the fallen
Saddened refrains
Lasting impressions
Endless the stains

Hearts of the young
Brave in the fields
Anguish and sorrow
The pain it does yield

Proudly they fight
Quickly they fall
Not soon forgotten
The blood on the wall

Freedom the journey
Cost laced with war
Darkened decisions
Death at the door

Counted statistics
No two the same
Numbers for tracking
Somebody’s name

Wasted perception
Fear has no place
Tears for the fallen
Roll down my face
11/11/14
We remember

~

Of worth, I wonder, oh I plead
This man of very simple means
Alone in truth my love does bear
If only you were here with me
~
A tiny touch of fingertips
Invokes desire to my glow
A brush against your supple lips
My blood a’ boil, starts to flow
~
So tight within your arms I see
My place, the world I long to share
O’ cast of shimmering moon beam
Now shines upon your autumn hair
~
Of eyes so dark, intense thy form
In prayers ago, to find me true
Cold winters fierce, I’ll keep you warm
To cry, I’m so in love with you
~
So am I worth what I so need
I stand before this evening light
With scars where once my life did bleed
An anguished soul of sorted sight
~
To dream in darkness shedding fear
Till death does come to find my day
I’m worth it if your love is near
Within my heart along the way
