pluie d'été
There was once a girl
Who loved the rain
And a boy
Who loved the sun

They met one day
In the drunken moonlight
Fireflies fell from the trees
Burning out before dawn

His hands were warm
And her's were cold

They breathed in unison
Opposites
Their eyes flickering
Against the sinking sky

"You make my heart race."
He said.
"You make my heart slow."
She whispered.

The sunlight stabbed the night
And the moon fell
Out of sight
Pulling down
A thousand clouds

"Kiss me,"
He demanded.
And she did.

Society, the town
People, the house
Everyone sees what lies outside
The flowers in the garden
The toys that scatter our yard
The white picket fences that border, just on the edge of society
However,we let them inside
We let them in eventually
As we show them who we are
The paint that colors our walls
The books that lie on our shelves
The songs that are constantly playing
On the rate occasion we let someone in
They get a very slight glance of our deepest thought
Our deepest thoughts, the ones kept hidden behind the heaviest of safes
The deepest thoughts that never witness the light of day
The thoughts kept hidden under lock and key

I rather write about this world than live in it
And id rather play music all day
and read and wander around in bookstores
and watch humans but not be one of them.

In a Forest
We can See all the
Trees as One
when the
Leaves are Green

When Leaves start to
Turn and Fall
We become able to
Clearly See the
Unique Character
of each and every
Tree

Much the same thing
could be said of
People.

IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU, IT'S THAT I ONCE MET A GIRL WHO RIPPED MY HEART OUT OF MY CHEST AND IT'S STILL AN OPEN WOUND, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU IT'S THAT MY MOM STILL YEARNED FOR MY DAD YEARS AFTER HE WAS GONE, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU IT'S THAT YOU HAVE SWEET BROWN EYES THAT MAKE ME WANT TO HOLD YOU BUT I'M SCARED, SO ******* SCARED, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU, IT'S THAT YOU DESERVE ALL THE AFFECTIONS IN THE WORLD AND I'M NOT SURE I CAN GIVE YOU ANYTHING MORE THAN SIMPLY MEDIOCRE, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU IT'S THAT EVERY TIME WE SPEAK I'M ENTHRALLED BY EVERYTHING YOU SAY, ALWAYS LEFT AT A LOSS OF WORDS, AS IF ALL THE ONES I'D EVER LEARNED HAD SUDDENLY LOST IT'S MEANING, YET NO MATTER HOW BEAUTIFUL THE SENTENCES COMING OUT OF YOUR MOUTH WERE, ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT WAS MEETING THEM MID-SENTENCE, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU, IT'S THAT YOU'RE THE KIND OF GIRL THAT CHANGES LIVES, THAT DRIVES STARS AND BEAT HEARTS AND I'M INSANE, BUT ONLY INSANELY WANTING TO HOLD YOUR HAND, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU IT'S THAT WITHOUT YOUR COSMIC IMPORTANCE THERE'D BE NO POETRY TO BE WRITTEN, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU IT'S THAT THE LAST PERSON WHO TRIED TO FIX ME LEFT WITH CALLOUS-FILLED-HANDS AND NO ENCHANTMENT, IT'S NOT THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU, IT'S THAT I CAN'T

Its hard to come up with something heart felt,
when you never felt anything from the heart,
coldheartedness is a disease that decrease the heat
in your soul,It shows when your pain grows ad you have no where else to go,
So ive been told,
