L Seagull
Silencio
Words turn meaningless
Swallowed by stillness
In this dark place hidden from life
Where responsibility doesn't reign
Creativity fell asleep
Not dancing
Ankles shackled down to the floor
When did emptiness become so heavy?
Give me a rhythm piper
Spin me alive
Storm my senses
Shake up this bottled up feeling
Make this darkness explode with
Constellations

For now I will continue on my fours
Been trying to work on a very important project, something that took years for me to develop. But now that it is so near to coming into life I start feeling so awfully uninspired. Just staring at the floor in the library hoping that thoughts will finally start flowing
I throw stones
at the ancient brick
just to pass the time

Pretending these
shadows are my friends
dancing along
parking space lines

The air is stale
smelling of gasoline and
cheap perfume
I'm throwing stones
while thinking of you

What will you become?
A question I heard when
I was younger
I wish to change
my response
now that I'm older

I wish to become
human in a world
designed to make me
feel small

Stand tall in
time and space
and never again
listen to
anyone at
all

Just Me R
Look at the reality
Losing our scerenity
To those without integrity
Doomed is humanity
With their insanity
Hatred and obsenities
Marking their territories
The innocent in morturies
Caught up in tragedy

When will we learn?

Torin
Death is an amerous being
Whose arms only want to hold you
The sky in Ohio is gray
Deny
Refute his claim
His conquering of your flesh
His irascible nature incurable
That your not ready to join him
In whatever darkness is his aim
His joy
His lonely and greedy demands
His need for fossils
Keep your light
Give your life
When the time is right
The sky in Ohio is gray

You have a chance
Take it and run
Away from his hateful clutch

towering gently overflowing with heightened awareness
subtle hints of blade’s keen glittering chiseled edges
untamed rugged surface powerfully averts gale’s acrid tempest
vigor pulsating that doth persuade the cloud’s reflections
if i shall not again embrace a meager glimpse; a demure echo
of thine towering mounts my soul shall ever suffer

my spirit soars with e'er one glance of thine majestic presence
replete with reminiscence seasons stir and beg thine tender mercies
to house the changing leaves at dusk of autumn’s auburn portraits
and give birth to crystal snow cascading peripherally in winter
which melding into spring then begs thy bluffs to cover
in soft amethyst of columbine blossoming first light of summer

‘tis not paramount to scale high aloft thine peaks in escalation
for small sheer glances stamp forever with imperial impressions
and ‘tho i’ve traveled ‘round and savored nature’s varied essence
none can compare thine evergreens laced in aspens nuance
my breath is gone and shan’t return ‘til in thy shadow casting
i stand and look upon thine hallowed face the rocky mountains

translucence is rare
withdraw your opaque armor
swim in fearless love
