lover's curse

i could love the world
and all its places
i could kiss the skies
and nature's different faces

i could fall in love with people
and the little things they do
i would give my heart to anyone
and even strangers too

i could love the sounds of life
and the songs of the sea
i sing to the night's silence
and the beats of the city

but i am quite worried
aside from fondness and such,
that perhaps nobody
could love me as much.

Pass mind fear's dark tunnel,
in One's vast ocean of Light

We swim in the sky
and fly in the deep...

Leave behind our shell
with the weight of human pains

Oh Ocean of Light
Our perfect home where love is rain

and the sun is both gold & chrome
and our kiss begets white lightning...

After all is said and done (again)
here where our withering bones have won

I will always love you beyond
and forever more....

after all the words are said
when none have gone and done is dead

I will love you always and instead...

there are hours before bed
i think i'll turn in now instead
i think i'll burn instead
I often contemplate if being normal

Night

The stars twinkle.
They're so bright.
Trying to outshine each other,
Making the night a bit happier.

The moon illuminates the sky.
Casting a comforting light.
It may not be it's own light,
But it doesn't make it any less.

A gentle breeze drifts by.
Causes a rustling in the trees.
The sway of the trees,
Their own little dance.

A single girl.
A single boy.
Laying in the same bed,
Talking with each other.

They compare their love to the stars.
Compare it to the moon.
The universe is infinite,
But so is their love.

Such a complicated thing.
I just want to write of how the waves move me,
How I have slept for years to the cricket’s song,
When my eyes flood as the fields did the same,
How my hips move when the horn begins to play,
The feeling when the eyes are heavy and the belly full,
I’ve been trying to learn the most direct path to these complexities
But the roads always blur, and my throat does not know the words
Our story is
Worn out pages
Untold chapters
Covered in tear stains
It tells the story of pain and heartbreak
With a beginning and a middle
But written without a ending

The reason for the silence
Is because I no longer wish to be hurt
By the sounds of your voice
and the false hopes they bring
