Dear beautiful evergreen
rooted down in the field
strongly upholding itself
like it has an impenetrable shield

The one that has experienced blazing summers
and freezing winters
not only seen warfare
but watched it from the center
winds blew it west and east
but it never went left or right
had blood on its leaves
but never got into a fight

Dear beautiful evergreen
That stands there all yearlong
keep your roots rooted
and continue to be strong
A pebble in a sea of glass

shattered mind raindrops

fragile as broken cobwebs

sun strong and shadow deep

infinite and fleeting

planet sized in the palm of your hand

belief is everything

and nothing at all
No it is not an AI Poem

What made
us so beautiful
Is that we
were never
likely to happen,
And here we are;
Pretending
to be oblivious
To the obvious
love waves
Bouncing back
and forth
Between
our hearts
This thing
Is a never
ending start...
Where the moments
we are meant to share,
Are carelessly
forced apart.
i am the best
version of myself
when i am comfortable
surrounded by my loved ones
and knowing there are no time restrictions
My periods turn to semicolons
My suicide notes to poetry
My goodbyes became hellos
The blades turn to sunflowers
And the bullets, a rose
My heart still is broken
But the pieces have been found
Death isn’t for me anymore
What is, in the here and now
I still don’t feel enough
But I am alive
And that’s enough to say
Today is not the day I die.
Crows overhead
in a late October sky
evening
near dark
a few late warblers
in and among the trees

at least
the crows were silent
as they winged past
and therefore wise

the dog, fed,
stretched out upon the sofa
thin chili on the stove
steaming faintly
the two of us here
a hand-drawn map
upon the table
a reedy voice crossing the plains
you        and        me
and nowhere else
to
go
ah
the river ran incessantly
and it became a
melody
that runs through me
constantly

of course, its course has changed
and I have also changed,
the passing of years and erosion
do that.
You are not known, but
You are welcome,
Free breath provokes hope,
The future will come,
Your timing is perfect.
