Oh, Ophelia,
sweet cherub
face, bathed
in moonlight,
doe eyes filled
                with woe:

You are a figure
of my affliction,
falling softly at
midnight, a
delicate dis-
position, fragile
                as soft snow,

a garden you
invite me to,
opulent trees of
treason, you
are the siren’s
call at dusk,
pulling me away
from the

                garden
                of
                eden.

Gently, I wake from your side.

I love your serene face on the pillow,

The soft, fluttering eyelashes on cheeks,

The strong, resting hands tucked underneath.

But I won’t kiss you, or touch you for

I don’t wish to disturb your dreaming,

So, I watch, and I smile up at the light.

It happens every morning, this feeling,

and I think just isn’t she the sweetest human?

there is not much to say
in the dry heat of today
but sometimes when it rains
i wish you would've stayed
if you ever come back to this place
thinking of me
please remember that people change
and mistakes will always be made
and i am always here
waiting for a garden to grow

i need to have the earth on a skewer because i am nothing special. i am a harmless child, learning to twist up my tongue and articulate, so i need to grip these men in the palm of my hand. i need to scream until my bones twitch. this summer the edges of my world are going to meet and all the stars will fall flat. and it'll be all my fault. and i will smile so hard my lips will split. this summer i am turning backwards and nothing will ever be the same. take me back into your skin. cover me with a sheet and keep stabbing.

Peter Pan Swore

Peter Pan swore we’d never

age if we, just believed, but

everyday the fairytales fade

away like little fallen fireflies,

instead wrinkles and stress

introduce new heartaches...

no time for childishness

whenever time smolders

I am made of the moon and stars
A sparkle of fairy dust drifitng idly in the wind
The glint of sunlight kissing the calm ocean waves
For all I know
The world is beautiful
A balance of cosmic energy shifting from one medium to the next
The electricity bouncing back and forth between lovers
The first gust of air a baby gathers in it's lungs
This is the lulling harmony traced around the world
A silent reassurance
That everything
Will be alright.
We're all falling
and whether it's down or in love
it usually hurts.

Back in the old town
the mill town
the two bob for a
mixed grill town,
and suddenly
it feels like home,

But it's where you came from
that you go to when you want to
when you're falling.
