I'm getting lessons in patience
I can't wait!!

Little Bear
i don't think
i will ever not be in love
with trees
it makes my heart humble
seeing in one sweeping moment
the expanse
of their life
so beautiful is it
that it must span
the length
and breadth
of the sky...

Poetry in its rawest form, is not only literature but an inkwell filled with empathy and a parchment awaiting possibilities
In bed
Wanting on the world to end
Waiting for my last breath
My bed
The land of dreams
Dreams killed by loneliness
Your bed
A place I know nothing about
And you not know of me
In bed
Where my tears fall
And my tears dry
My eyes closed now
Hoping to never open again
My bed
My coffin
Why?  She asked
Why do you love me?
Because,  He said
Because you’re all I’ve ever known
You’re the sun on my skin in the winter morning
You’re breath is my hope, so I inhale you
You’re my smile in a nightmare
You speak love to me in your fingertips
Smother me with your silk hair in the morning
I destroy everything I touch
And you grow flowers from the ash
I don’t know how you do it
You’re contagious and I caught you
I don’t know how to do anything
Except love you
Who are you?

What is this?

What is happening?

Grappling with my defenses as I slip into despair and confusion, comatose.

Just as I feel all is well,

The gentle swells turn to tsunami,

Crash upon my shores.

The moors sink into the unrelenting waves.

I see you and I cry inside.

Why?

I don't know.

The mere sight of you still shakes me to my bones,

As I sink and drown I watch you float past in your bliss,

Sail past me, unawares.

Somebody save me...

Traveler
You can twist
My heartstrings
In a somersault display
Spiral through my being
Fill me with your rays

You can flood my soul
Hold me in your beam
I am but a shooting star
In your gravity
.....
