Breathe...
Have faith...
Everything will be okay.
Just hold on.

Smile, dear
And let the world see
How strong and brave
You faced all the pains
You have gone through.
20W (:
A thought that pops out of my mind after having a successful open heart surgery :)
Forever be strong! ;)

This distance that's keeping us apart,
Making me feel blue deep within my heart.

I miss you each minute that passes,
Imagining your gentle caress.

Wishing you were here with me,
Wrapped in a cuddle with thee.

How long would we be like this?
I wish I had a goodbye kiss.

Without you, I feel so alone,
Can't talk to you even on the phone.

Have you already forgotten me?
I hope not, sweetie.

'Coz I am still hoping that one day,
You'll be back and forever in my life you'll stay.
Product of my boredom :D I was able to make good use of my time by writing poems.
Thanks for reading! ;)

Thanks to Amitav Radiance for thinking of a good title for this :)

Cape North. Ocean surface
Dark as a drowner's despair
Hurling itself against itself
Upon; within and beyond itself.

You can smell the North Pole
On the wind's perpetual threat
Of storms so strong they carry
Ice in their harsh beings.

So unlike Warrnambool; emerald
Waves high-fiveing Australian
Rock over its own undeniable
Beauty. Silver edged green gems

Flowing as from a giant child
Emperor's slain piñata.
Scent of warm ocean rendering
Its perfection even to closed eyes,

And I stand with one foot on each
Vertical edge of the world.
Thanking. Breathing. Watching.
Praying to -and for- everything.

You are here with me. Like
Yellow on wasp; feather on bird;
The one thing added making
All else as graceful as itself.

I move away.
Every motion I make is
That of someone leaving.

I move away,
Like finished dancers; ploughs
Of birds heading to or from

Some paradise or not. I
Move away from excessive
Touching; such caresses turn

Desperate and demanding to
A man whose lovers are gentle
Mountain breezes and whispered

Songs of dry leaves hissing
Like the last breath of
A ancient artist seeing her

Masterpiece through closing
Eyes; content and, like all things
Living should,

Embracing the dying a slow
Death that Life truly is, and
Knowing it's no place to stay.
Not staying.
Moving
Away.

You are that one mountain,
I will never get over

And so it gathers
air in the marrow
like wind in the grass
it's time to go.

Restlessly risen
ready to listen- my dreams
paint murals of nomads
I'll leave with the snow.

There are moments I see you more clearly than ever

the taste of ginger on a Sunday couch, stretched out cat-like to watch our show.

And I laugh at all the moments I know you would laugh.

Unfair as the prettiest dream.

I quarantined myself in a still pool
tranquil and floating, waiting for the ice
to finally freeze my turbid heart
into a more peaceful *****.

On the shore you saw me
or I saw you
and perhaps I was a lighthouse
or perhaps you were a lifeboat,
gliding from the banks
you poured yourself in like hot oil.

As you slipped over my arms, legs, torso, face,
you breathed into my ear a steady stream of prophecy and promise
-It's not right for a woman like you to be alone. You are built to give.

And so I felt your mouth seal over mine
and allowed you to inhale the starry swirls of life
I had been conserving for winter.

As you pulled me far deeper with you
we could not emulsify
but we became inseparable.

I have stepped into your quicksand
Wondering how many men
Have fallen into this trap
And never made it back
To the reality of dry land

I'm searching for the safety of a vine
Anything to grasp that I can find
To get me out of this
Insanely crazy mess
That I get myself in all the time

I find the more it is that I panic
The further it is that I sink
I fell in over my head
Thinking love is where it lead
Now I'm afraid I'm in way to deep
