All things considered
I’m not too unhappy
With this underdog life
Watching from the shadows
How other people
Who consider themselves
To be happier
**** up
Time after time
There are hundreds of people
I pass every day
they all have a name, a life, a place.
I sit amoung them, half asleep
on the 5 to 8 train -
they all seem the same.

So, isn't it a wonder
that he should stumble into my world
out of all those strangers
who come in and out of my timeline each day.

Isn't it fortunate
how so many aspects of him are like me.
I could go on caring for him
when the moon falls from the sky
and no one can sleep anymore
because of the constant daylight.

I will be there for him when the universe
turns its back and he is left
searching for somewhere
he can spill his guts.
I'm that secret place he can go
whenever tragedy occurs.

Lately I've been finding it hard to write poetry,
It's like my head can't figure out what my heart is saying,
I loved you and lost you and found you once again,
I don't really have you but I can feel you within,
I don't think my heart is silent because my love life is a bore,
I think it just might be because my heart isn't broken anymore
From the window
pen poised on paper
I watch
a single leaf
fall turn revolve
show both sides of itself
and fall:
to join the carpet of colour
covering the pavement
spilling out across the road.

How perfectly is that fall of a leaf:
the aleatoric moment that nature composes
the twirl and slow revolve in its falling as it turns
into an uneasy moment of rest where quivering
the uniqueness of its fall disappears

That is our love:
that chance moment of falling
the twirl and turn of our limbs
holding the trajectories of our bodies
and your rich beauty as it falls into
the uniqueness of ******
to rest - shuddering
in my grateful arms
I see the beautiful women walking down my street.
Wearing their Finest clothes
Seductively winking at me and turning up the heat.
I see into many of their eyes
Into their souls...
It is their heart I wish to meet.
Looks open up many doors.
"What mine is mine And soon I will own your's."
The heart tells only the truth. What it wants is love and everlasting youth.
The heart sings a song that the Sirens never sing
Attracting only the other that it longs for...
A faithful love and it's eternal bond is the gift to witch it brings.
Attraction is motivated by the body and lust.
My lust is of that and a much more beautiful kind...the heart.
For a lady's soul makes me hotter to finally the energy of a flame.
Eternal partners fused by true heart and soul's attracted
Through seeing through the eyes of one another's hearts.
Ending days of the lonely...ending into satisfaction from energies fused from the true sources from one and the same.
The world came from nothing
Ciphers into an endless darkness
No light, like when asleep, and there
In the vast caverns of the mind it
Holds nothing sacred to keep

But even I dream, dream of beautiful things
Things that I  hold dear to me, people I love
And around to see the beautiful things I see
They can hear what I hear and feel  what I feel
And it all makes sense because it's real

The cool breeze of  the fall
The changing colors of the leaves
The sun cascading it's magic upon the trees
Everything seems as it should be

Can there be anything so right
I can taste the dew of the night
See the waxing moon shine bright
And hope there comes another time

But through it all, what if I die?
Then what, where do I go from here?
The world aimlessly rushes to nowhere
And I am caught up in the hustle
The seeminglessly vast tyrant holding
Me by my neck, waiting for death to take me

Close my eyes, what if that's all there was
Just complete darkness, no thoughts
Nothing.
