In an alternate universe,
the light would be more friend than foe.
I need not entrench myself
in the sturdiest foxhole...
The deepest burrow.

In an alternate universe,
shadows would not goad me
into submitting to leverage.
Spotlight would be on,
and I would take centrestage.

In an alternate universe,
the world would perceive
with magnanimous eyes.
With no malicious intent,
with no obscure motives,
all twisted and bent.

In an alternate universe,*
I would readily reveal myself...
As an entity and not a martyr.
In my heart, there'll be no worry.
Because there'll be no fangs
amidst the jubilee.
Only smiles that would draw out
the best in each other.

this morning
i am stuck

i am stuck
between
Blue
and
Pink

every morning
i face the same decision
and ask the question
how do i feel today?

and every morning
i struggle
not because i cant find the answer
but because im scared of it

because i know
that i cant be Purple
thats too confusing

but i feel Purple

after school we'd sit on the bench,
some obscure opera song -
loudly playing on the neighbor's radio
and I'd laugh at your annoyed face
you said that you don't get it
and I tell you that I like it
that its calming
and you proceed to rest your head
on my shoulders, as if you'd sleep
but you never did
oh how I missed those times

They say we are all angels with one wing
And the only way to fly is by embracing one another
I think I found my other wing
And she wore a pretty little white dress
Man I felt like I was playing chess
I was a lonely pawn
And she was my knight
And I felt like screaming into the night
She looks simple yet sophisticated
Seems wild yet domesticated
One day I will master courage
One day we will be on the same page
But until then
You are only the girl in a pretty little white dress
Through the worm infested wood
And bales of smoky hay
I watch the lady dance
She sways like the ocean
As her arms like to play
Eyes closed so solitude is assured
I'm mesmerised by her grace
Porcelain coloured skin with blue crystal eyes
Covered by the fairest locks of hair
Beauty radiants from her gentle looking face
And I don't know what she's dancing to
Some gentle and soothing songs
In a world only she sees
To music only she hears
It's a lone party where only she really belongs
I wish I could enter that place
Just for a second of one day
We could dance in motion together
Be it as friends be it as lovers
I want us both to hear the music play
I'am a thousand
words that floating
  With no humanity sense.
