Love me
Like I’m the last person in the universe
put me on a pedestal, and I’ll be yours
Love me now
Propose me with vows
and I’ll allow you inside
but be warned, the slightest lie
and I will die
Then I’ll deny
and look into your eyes
to repeat the day
You turned my soul gray
Is virginity still a thing? You might ask me what do you mean by thing? Well, I’m asking you that too...

To describe her would be like looking at a waterfall.

From afar, she captures your attention
and up close you feel the mist
known as her presence embrace you.

Without a doubt, she is a beauty
and her voice gushes warmth and intensity.

However, when you get closer,
She is soothing like a water stream
and once inside,
playfulness arises.
Inside the water I am,
can’t breathe,
it’s like I swam in the most cavernous cascade ever.

I am drenched with fear as I go under the fall,
but as I further explore I am blocked by this stonewall.

The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.

Forget me.
Forget yesterday.
Turn around and teach yourself to say,
"I love you no longer."
Because you've just caused me harm.
And now I've moved on.
But you're still in the past.
If you loved me,
you'd learn to stop this hurt that lasts.
So say goodbye.
For the first time, you can cry.
And know this pain you feel,
is a pain I felt a million times over
and it was actually real.
