We shared so many magical moments
So many memories
We went thru thick and thin
We cried, laughed, and loved
Yet we are so far apart
I still wonder do you ever think of me
Do you still have love for me?

Or am I just a blurry dream
Too painful to remember

He sat and looked on quizzically
wondering
how many monkeys
are in a monkey puzzle tree
and if you took them all away?

then
it would only be a tree,
but what kind of a tree?
and now the whole thing
is puzzling me,

he sits laughing at me
faffing about nothing.
