If life gives you lemons
just be thankful it’s not a lime,
and when squeezing it
avoid getting the juice in your eye this time.
I don't care what you think.
It works – just - fine.
Probably too well, all considered.
But that's a heart for you.
It breaks.
That's the way you know
it's fine.
i ate barbecue
over and over again
for sixty six years
What was precious to me
I put on a tray
And offered it up
You ate for a day
I gave you my heart
You said you would stay
Then turned your back
And went your own way
Left me with nothing
To grasp or display
Yet keep what you stole
I won't beg or pay
I've learned to hold on tight
To watch what I say
Love is like taxis
They're everywhere when you don't need it
But nowhere to be found when you do
Her skin tastes,
that of stars,
and her hair,
has the scent,
of lilacs,
and driftwood,
tainted by,
morningdew.
I can’t help,
but stop,
and stare for,
just a few.

Please check out this kickstarter! I am publishing an illustrated poetry book, contact me and let’s make dreams come true!
all in all
to
be true
to
yourself
that
love
shall
answer
your call
and
no one else
I finally open this door again
I am tired of closing it shut
I am tired of fighting
I am tired of crying
I am tired of gasping for air
So I guess I will just...
...let it go
let it slip
see where it takes me
maybe it will drown me
only time will tell
But for now
I rather hurt
than be stuck in my own little music box
dancing to the same beat that makes me sick
