Dimly lit moonlight
Shines upon your precious face
You are beautiful
By Matt Homan

Co-worker wanted to express a haiku, and I enjoyed it, so I posted it.
He was inspired by the music titled "Dark Night of the Soul"   By Phillip Wesley

This sadness
feels so deeply rooted within me
that I wonder
would I even feel like myself without it?

silence creates music
darkness creates light
the good makes the bad
and wrong allows for right

without up there is no down
if we don't die we aren’t alive
a breath in is a breath out
and in departing we will arrive
I found
Your picture
And it
Didn’t hurt
To look
At first
Then I
Longed for
The stabbing
Pain in
My heart
Almost
As much
As I
Long for
You
More grief. Different stage.
I overcame everything in life
except your haunting memory.
Reality turns into fiction under the relentless march of the blind time.

REGRETS

Sometimes,
We let go of words
as if they don't mean anything.
As if they won't hurt anyone.
As if they won't matter at all.
And most of the time,
we forget how powerful regrets can be.
And regret begins the moment
we've finally let the words slip from our tongue,
and realize we can't take them back anymore.
