cooked worry
seared in a teary onion broth

Hors D'oeuvres

fresh over-analyzing
crushed with loneliness

Stress Salad
tossed with insomnia
marinated in a vertigo dressing

General Trouble Chicken
battered uncertainty
gloomed to perfection
sitting on steamed danger
stir fried in an overwhelm sour sauce

topped with whipped depression
glazed with self-loathing

Poetria
Got two poems up for plating
Lines in layers, piled in waiting
Even if they've been outdated-
That never stopped me baking.

A chocolate-centered senryu
A haiku pastry, maybe two
I'll throw in a little freestyle verse
To feed some hungry youth.
Sitting in a posh cafè;
sipping on a white hot chocolate;
Fudge cake in my stomach: I got inspired.
A baby and a dead are both covered in a white sheet.
The struggle is to keep it spotless somewhere in between.

People think
That when you break something,
It has to make a clang,
Or a rattle
Or a smash.
But
The night my heart broke,
No one heard a thing.
