Got Guanxi
I loved you before the alcohol,
Hourglass to the soul,
hour pass,
days maybe...
in between the formulation of golden nuggets in the mountains silver sands.
You held my hand and through velvet touch,
Electricity meander through my arms,
before the storm calm,
the start of a heart attack -
then the pack of house of cards collapsed.
In a deserts smile,
you flatlined through our favourite past times.
The pastures rich with buttercups
and dandelions like the last time.
When we walked over the train tracks harvest.
Last summer and last spring.
Somethings are everlasting,
and some pass like storm clouds without one droplet of rain,
in casting,
our love grew like tulips,
Yellow, red and blue,
bruises,
but soon come the rain,
our muses loses,
&
rendered useles;
I went away and
It's too soon to explain myself,
For that.
Back,
with cap in hand.
Lost in hearts melted by false starts,
and feathered cap,
Falsetto moods
sharp stilettos,
slap back.
I couldn't let go when the sun came through,
and a calming parting of the clouds where the rain came blue.
I thought I could live without you,
but I bottled it,
again.
Now I've nothing left to give,
but my gift to you.
sinking, sleeping in the land dunes
trying to understand you.

Homunculus
I hate writing in pentameter,
That nagging old parameter reduces
The breadth of expression's diameter.
It's a barrier, a boundary, a cage built around me.
I'd rather cast off the impediment and
Allow my thoughts to sediment freely,
Really, I just can't dig it, ya feel me?
After a while, it gets so **** repetitive, and
I'll bet it did drive Shakespeare nuts
When he wrote all his sonnets, back
When lords rocked big wigs and their
Ladies wore bonnets. That's another thing
It's been used and abused for like six *******
Centuries, contemptibly does this old relic
Haunt us and daunt us and taunt us
Writing's not meant to be a chore,
It shouldn't bore and indenture me, but
Rather, set me free me and
Instead be adventure, see?

Wow.
I'm Somehow,
Feeling much better now.
I tried writing a sonnet in iambic pentameter again. I made some pretty good progress, but then hit a wall because of the limitations of the form. Maybe it would be better if English wasn't such a rhyme weak language. I don't really hate pentameter, but I had to vent. I'm still gonna try to finish the sonnet.

Free Bird
No words do this just
It shall remain underwritten
But to sum it all up;
Darling, I'm smitten
Inspired by this lovely holiday.
Blithe golden cloud, that once tugged at my heart strings
enigmatic pubescent, warm master work of raising steam,
you did drift too low, to be real for my sun scorched world
but deliberately pretended cold, when I waved, repeatedly,
I ardently wooed, to the alarm of your admirers, a legion
how I longed for the secrets, you whispered, know you more
aren't you fire within, that burns heart, lightening concealed?
Formed in sensual, undulating softness, hiding, fiery desires?

I waited, for you to touch ground, as you promised,to explore
being naive, you inadvertently tangled with the tree branches!
Obstructive self seekers, who craftily trapped you in thickets
and little by little, in grey strands you vanished in thin air...
A lesson to all straying cloudlets,I had to be sadly a witness.

Was touched by a witch.
Clawed at me while in her mouth,
but didn't draw blood.

Music in my head
too loud for a simple pain,
I'm begging for more.

Grabbing her wrists and
placing them where It's painful,
and nodding gently.

"More. Please, more.", I sigh.
She laughs, or giggles, I think.
Pleasure spiked with pain.

Yeah... she enjoys this.
Pure energy on her tongue.
Electricity.

Eternal data runs through your blood
you can trace it across the sky
within the emotions of Elephants
and watch it swim an ocean
your data is a heartbeat away
from being broken. Your data
is a song you heard on the radio
twenty five years ago and all
the young poets call you ancient
-data running on irrelevant.

Matt Carter
The greatest general of all time.
Born in 356 B.C. in Pella, Macedon.
Son of Phillip II of Macedon.
Became King of Macedon in 336 B.C.
Led an army of Greeks to victories,
conquered most of Greece.
Invaded and conquered the great
Persian Empire. Extended his empire from
Macedon all the way to the outer parts of India.
Near the Ganges river,
his tired and war weary army refused
to go on. Alexander dies in Babylon in 323 B.C.
thus ended the life of Alexander, greatest of all generals.
