Hearts are not something to be taken lightly.
According to life's essential need.
Anything else would be considered making noise.
Hearts are like mid sized drums. fragile in the way that they beat.
Lingering throbs, echoing intensely.
Seldomly, A snare dropped off key, played softly.
Filling the space of the smallest thought.
Realizing that mistakes can and will occur.
Something not to be taken lightly.
The fragile pop of the smallest thread.
Over thought in motion.
Continuing to move about.
Balanced by the placement of steady hands.
Regaining composure.
A new note soulfully played in cadence with another.
Realizing that there is no such thing as control when it comes to matters of the heart.
A constant rhythm that goes misunderstood until it meets a set of ears to willingly listen.
A Definitive purpose. Finding bliss in filling the gaps of another note.
Without embarrassment, without shame to be themselves.
Tirelessly in unison.
The throb of steady hearts.
This was life being lived to the fullest.
This was the first time I truly heard music at it's finest.
It was never the steady pace of the drum,
But everything that took place around the pop.
Only to amplify as I grew older
Love is to burn and beauty is to discern
It is a point from where there is no return
Hence I have my concern to be more stern
We both enjoy and celebrate our pattern

Let me see in your eyes to nurture romance
Come in my arms to celebrate and to dance
How can I forget your sweet and lovely glance
Beauty gives chance and love takes chance

From the day I am in love I burn in love fire
With every flame of fire I inspire to admire
My rivals inquire what I got from love desire
But I want to continue with desire till I expire

'*****' , 'how much for the night' yelled people
But to him these words meant nothing
As he looked to the woman on his right
Whose face was grim , hit with the pebbles of hate people threw at her
He held her hand tight
She looked up and nodded
He fell in love with her mind
He was her only hope to find love
When these lifeless phantoms drained the life out of her
When the chains of society tied her hands and dragged her down
When an avalanche of disgust mauled her
She remembered him , she escaped with him
She did not choose this path , she was forced,
she was put down with her head in the guillotine
He loved her , he found the woman no one saw,
He polishes shoes in the day while she earns in the night
Still love blossomed in an uncanny, unforgotten way
Cheating the perception of so called society
Their future was black as the , congested lanes of some taboo town
Yet they didn't care, he loved her
And she loved him back
She was named a ******* by the civilization
And he , a *******'s lover.
We're all in a box
In the middle of the ocean
Filled with families and things to do
And we stay in this box, and live
And become accommodated
And build a relationship
With the box with all the people
And it becomes a routine

You can choose to leave the box
Choose to venture out
Meet locals of various boxes
Unique beings
Who can touch you by a different culture
Or you can choose to stay
And make the box your home
Sometimes there are people
Who move from box to box
Quite often
Never really finding a home

One day
A cute blonde with blue eyes and
A love of excitement
And a love for the idea of finding
Someone she actually loves
Was sent on an incredible adventure
Out of the box
Into the open ocean
A truly remarkable
Time to speand
To make the best of

At the same time
A boy from another box
Was sent on the same route
Away from small mindedness and into vastivity
And they met
And bonded
And told stories
And made their own.

The 2 became attached
And shared a love
Even after they returned from their adventures
And it never faded
Maybe forgotten, tucked away
But never gone
Always present

Today they still share a love,
A love so strong and so willing to sacrifice money time and energy, anything that could bring the 2 back together
So she can hold him again and rub her cheek and lips on his neck and feel his warmth around her when she gets lost in his embrace
She felt like the lucky one
For once
She felt so special and so happy
That she ignored the terrible things about the box
And just sat back and thought about his crooked smile and loose lips
And remembered that he was thinking about her too

He became her idea of home
From 3,200 miles away

The Nomad

She sat in the shore of the sea, she needed to breathe.
She wondered if the waves that kissed her feet, were the same that waved his ship.
She thought back at his body’s silken glaze,
And how it would luster on the linen shades.

He wanted a lady, fresh from a family home
But he had no idea about her nomadic soul.
And little did he know about the abyss in her heart,
And how she dreamed of discovering the stars.

He got a woman possessed by the world,
And all he had built for them was never her home.
He found her lady, but she wouldn’t carry pearls and a cross
For the crowds was her peace and in their wonder she would get lost.

One night she took a road trip to the beach,
Hoping that the sea would satiate her gypsy dreams
And as she touched the salty water, she wondered if he could see her face in all of those ports,
For she whispered her good-byes and hoped the waves would deliver her love.

AM
A moment ago wind was raging
over my beautiful valley
knocking on window panes
waking me
not to tomorrow, but
to yesterdays of long ago.

I was little then
and wind blew strong
and scared of storms
in Ma's lap I'd hide
begging it to go away.

These days though
I ask the wind to go
not for fear
but the memories
that it brings:
a blessed childhood
that won't be  back,
so wind, let it go
don't remind me so
or knock on my heart's door.
Passed  the  lake  last  evening.
It  looked  dark,dank  and  threatening.
In  the  fast  fading  light.
The  moody  mountains  stood  tall.
With  thick  mist  swirling  across.
In  ghostly  fashion.
A  complete  contrast  to  the  summer  view.
