Does time speed up as we age?
I gaze back at the end of the day,
To- do- lists are very helpful, I guess,
But very boring, I must suggest,
As kids we used to anticipate,
Time dragged on, it was never too late,
Then, a bend in time,
It's already supper time!

Yah! Good news arrived, let's say,
Today, I  had a terrific day,
A day of good intentions,
Pacifist is my intentions,
I party by reading and writing,
The library is so inviting,
Here am I, scribbling away,
Today I had a terrific day!
Let's read books to celebrate!

It all came to a standstill,
A day when time stood still,
A beautiful world, fogged and grey,
Grief was its own land, okay?
But the sun arose the next day,
And we woke up anyway,
When the past was  a distant land,
Time stood still, not so grand........

As the Bible did me told,
I was young, now I am old,
A message in words like whispers,
Old bags, in no immediate danger,
A peaceful heart is the trick,
Stay away from dipsticks!

He left her in the lurch,
Standing at the door of the church,
Like a senior Miss Havisham,
She'd been ****** in by his spam,
She trailed off home,
Faced her life alone,
Unveiled her black wedding frock,
Thought, "'I'm  really better off,
I'll manage great, mates,
With him I shall not participate,
As in Chazza Dickens' literary creations,
A tale of dud expectations,
With senior passion--no relations!

As I meander over this stage,
I see older women who turn the page,
They seem to hunt down more heels,
Luring in them in with their melons of steel,
Big bazoomas,  strong derrieres,
But, they don't have much luck, it appears,
I wonder  what they're hoping for,
Those widow spider predators.......
Melons of steel, melons of steel,
Let me know when you catch your eels!

Let's look at language today,
The future is now, this is the way,
B4 I met U,  I was gr8, m8!
