I rise from the ground on a rare day of peace.
I sigh as I see the world around me.
Destruction at every path.
I see what this world has become and sink back down into my grave.
I sink below where peace is maintained.

My niece asked about you yesterday,
she said she liked you.
I said, " I like him too, but we're just friends."
That was a lie, but sometimes it is okay to pretend,
when something is too complicated for a child to comprehend.
I do hope, however, I never have to lie like that again.
Because as the words left my lips
I remembered how achingly I missed
you, my best friend.

Mid-spring in Holland
I was strolling on the meadow
Filled with tulips and daffodils
Till the sunset
There came my shadow

Dancing were the trees
To the autumn breeze
I lay down on the soft grass
While watching the sky
As the songbirds fly

A heavenly feeling it is
To be here in paradise
Where beauty never dies
Still, it makes no sense
Without your presence

This nirvana would be nothing
Without you beside me
While counting the stars
And wondering what the galaxy holds
For you're the only one I see

Lie down with me
Let's watch the maple leaves fall
Just to have you in my arms
In this serenity
I'd give you all

People always look for answers and causes,
In love, in happiness,
In hard times, in fear.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter,
If the answer is the truth or lie,
Just something they wish to hear.

The truth can be very painful.
In those moments,
Some chooses to tell a lie,
Because when we love someone,
We don’t want to see them cry.

But truth is a better choice,
Because lie doesn’t last long.
No matter how difficult it is,
We have to accept everything,
And be positive and strong.

Some people lie because they are bad,
Ambitious people lie,
To achieve an important gold.
They don’t think about consequences,
Just about their benefits,
Of every lie that has been told.

Honesty is rare nowadays,
Most think that,
It is people's big flaw,
They say "Don't put all your cards on the table,
Some things should remain secrets,
Others don't need to know".

People are always in dilemma,
What to say, what to do.
Is it good to share our every thought?
With the lie comes sense of guilt,
The truth brings inner peace,
But it can take away a lot.
