Lustus
you are nothing that I understand
my ability to breathe leaves me at the mere thought of you
life is the energy that overcomes me when you're close by
soul is what I feel when your lips touch mine
delicacy is my hands gripping your skin from the back of your neck down to your spine
strength is what I see in your eyes
passion runs through your blood

you are love
love to drive me crazy and question everything about myself
love to make me want you every second of the day
love to make me feel like I've lost complete control of myself
love to make me want to scream under water, but only if I'm holding your hand while I'm immersed
love for comfortable silence and uncontrollable ***
love for the sound of your voice over the guitar
love
for the way you make me feel again
love for the inspiration you have given me

X
i do not wear my heart on my sleeve.
instead, i keep it locked up in a glass box
buried deep within me
X marks the spot
cross my heart
and hope to fly
stick a moonbeam in my eye
they say what doesn't **** you makes you stronger
and i think i believe that's true
but sometimes
there are moments
when it's just too much
too hard to resist the urge
to curl up from the outside-in
like a snail shell
a home within.

but eventually
my beautiful muse,
dress flowing in the wind,
comes to whisper in my ears
sweet echoes through my shell space
she whispers of a treasure map
drawn across her back-canvas by chilled fingertips
that only she can decode
(with my help)
X marks the spot
cross my heart
and hope to fly
eyes are for seeing
but when they're closed
they are for feeling
my muse, my muse
how do you do it?
shoot me straight up into space
so that i land
X marks the spot
in a little glass box
warm between your lined palms.
LDR life.

He would stick all his dreams inside a bottle
Then throw it away into the sea
Watching it slowly being carried away by the water
Reaching to a being in the sky if he'll ever see tomorrow
He keeps gazing at the bottle
Hoping it would stay afloat
So he could share his dreams and hopes
With another lost soul
But instead the bottle sinks
And doesn't seem visible from the far
So now his dreams are kept secret
Only the bottom of the sea knows how he feels
My brain is a very dark place.

Hilda
Time hath ceased.
All clocks stopped.
Where you passed by
in dew kissed meadow,
void of thy presence.
We hear no more
at our door
thy gentle knock.
After thy passing
and before
persistent loud cry
of Whip-poor-will.
Now that is still.

Silence.

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

And still I dream of stepping back into yesterday
Where time flowed so freely golden with serenity
We would sit in pine scented grove and sip lemonade
Our talk tranquil as sun dappled creek murmuring in quiet wood
Never arguing or complaining but flooded with blissful reverie
A time bygone and peaceful, learning to know each other again
Listening to the background symphony of cicadas and katydids
Poignantly nostalgic with yearnings of bygone days
Watching velvety dusk deepen into shades of whispering night
Relishing each breeze laden with moss and murmuring pine
Anticipating the dawn awakened by drowsy robins and wood thrush
Skies east to west stained with strawberry hues and dreams renewed
And still I shall dream on
