Ciel Noir
we are always
falling             toward
the                               Sun
but               ☉                we
  never                            get
   any                   closer
to the light
all monsters and adrenaline now
mad rush to inhale speed
lest life not deliver

yet in bygone days
when dames beguiled
soft curls and porcelain skin

or polished ebony
an ancient fire stirred
in embers aflame

men knew chivalry
their gender sure
dames held a different power

liquid eyes and innocent air
where no words were needed
to touch dreams' *******
Inspired by Christopher Victor Russon's nostalgic poem 'Those Talking Pictures'
We will make it just wait and see
Predujice will fail to stop us
From reaching our destiny
Determination will see us through.

You say we will not succeed
We know we will turn out strong
You judge a book by its cover
But you get the story wrong.

You see us through your human eyes
You never stop to talk only  pass us by
So don't look down you will be surprised
For we will rise and stand up high .

So throw away your selfish pride
Help us stand when you see us fall
Because we live together on this earth
Yes all together one and all.
Hopefully atitudes are changing toward
People with special needs, the stigma is somewhat fading away.
Many peaple who have special needs have hidden strengths
Or skills inwich they excel in.So the lesson is we should never be judgemental of others.we all have strengths and weaknesses.

annieohk
Toothless grins, gummy smiles
Eyes like saucers and lashes that rest on
Perfect cheeks, like a priceless painting
Child of mine, you are a work of art
A part of me - the best and truest form
Why couldn't you stay that way?
Dependent on me, always seeking my hand
My lap, or shoulder
The shelter of my arms
Encircling you in a ring
Of protective motherly love
My heart breaks and weeps
For anyone who has not known such love
It is the highest high and fragrant as a flower
I breathe deep and inhale you
Knowing you won't stay this way forever
I want to hold you close once more
And feel your tiny arms around my neck
I long to hear your squeaky voice and soft lisp
Just one more time
Child of mine, you grew too fast
And even though I thought I wouldn't
I let so many precious days slip through my fingers
And now you have a child of your own
Another blue eyed girl to love and cherish
It's almost like having you back for one more
Childhood dream
And now you too will know how it feels
To love a daughter
I tumble wildly, trapped, afraid,
with the endless screaming in my head.
I crack one day, but just miss the mark.
I assumed that nothing lay ahead.

Our love was a slow burning candle.
I was blinded by darkness, hopeless.
But your flickering helped me handle
my broken mind, bringing me wholeness.

Once recovered, that slow, steady burn
grew into a raging inferno.
If I had known how much I would yearn
for you, burn for you, learn from you….no.

I would have never tried to leave here.
You are not the only reason I stay.
Yet, you are my guiding light; my fear
met its maker, you melt it away.
I love to watch the honeybees
With there gentle tiny wings
It is lovely to see birds in trees
And to listen to the way they sing.

I love to watch the ducks in water
Paddling along with there young in line
They walk on roads and never falter
Oblivious to this thing called time.

I love to hear the seagulls sguarking
When walking along a sandy beach
Making such noise when we are talking
But they don't care they are out of reach.

I love to see the red red robin
A single bird that never fly's with a swarm
I love to watch them hop hop hopping
At winter time whilst I'm in the warm.

I love to watch  the butterflies
In colour with there distinctive features
And see them when they multiply
Along with those beautiful heavenly creatures.
Another morning in my garden with birds of every kind
A simple poem .although not so much the honeybees and butterflies
I just thought they were applicable to this poem.
You have found yourself a Genius
There is nothing he can't do
He could lose himself inside his room
And would write a book or two.

You have found yourself a Genius
A man of high esteem
He can make a lot of money
And your life would be like a dream.

You have found yourself a Genius
In a mansion he abides
With a tennis court and swimming pool
And a rolls Royce parked outside.

You have found yourself a Genius
Who has an amazing mind
He will take you to fancy restaurants
And treat you to the finest wine.

You have found yourself a Genius
Owning property's galore
He even owns his private jet
Along with so much more.

Yes you have found yourself a Genius
There is nothing he can't do
But when it came to make you happy
It just never worked for you.
A light hearted poem inspired by the Beatles song Money can't by me love
