Shades of darkness in the sky
Blood of crimson clover die
The flying silent skeleton crew
Cuts the neck of Northern mew
Ship of wicked traveler sails
Crosses the sea with pendant bale

Once you get the trust from him
Zenith reaches the bottom hill
Tip and toe with shoe ago
Slaughtering pieces of abo
Crying pain of source a fail
Brings the huntsman, he's for sale

When time tocks the twelve o'clock
The monster you see will now come back
To mend the water with great fire
To **** the nymph of scourging power
And he'll punish all the scary cowards
Cause end will soon be running forward

I still power through the day
like a bulldozer on display
for the world to believe
that I'll make it past New Year's Eve.

With a body that fights to survive
and with a mind that wants to die
I remember when I was five
years old and grateful for a blue sky.

Now my world is painted black
and I'm a shell of the girl I used to be
I wear a stone-filled backpack
faking being carefree.

I don't want to burden anyone
with my "small, inconvenient issues"
it's not like a shotgun
is being pressed to a small girl's head without tissues.
- some people wish me well
others pray for me to rot in hell -
As we fall in
Love under the
Moonlight we
Passionately kiss
Our eyes closing
Our hearts beating
We share a passionate
Kiss under the moonlight
As we fall asleep in each
Others arms I whisper
Softly I love you my sweetheart.
Love
take me
to where trees
only shelter
the midnight Moon.
the sun was just rising
i too was just rising
yet my spirit was falling
my bags were packed
and my mind was set
on a course that lacked
the verve of earlier days
one nostalgic look back
and i really was done
the terrain had changed
and so i hit the trail
raising only a whiff of dust
Dear Friends on hellopoetry, I've had a super time here and everyone has just been so superb, but i'm beginning to feel the blues of diminishing returns. Allow me to quote from Leonard Cohen's last letter to the love of his life, Marianne, "See you down the road."
Sometimes you stand aside
and weep over things not done
And sometimes you wait and wail in the wings
wondering where the rain beat you
Hi folks! Just looking in
