And after days and days
You might find this page
And this ink then dry
Might moisten your eyes

Like falling autumn leaves
I lilt for a while
And then show no grief
I don't need more time

And outside the moon is waxing
But inside my heart is waning
Everyone is leaving
And I am not complaining
:)
Sorry for the cryptic title.
I've never felt so helpless.
Watching people who seemed indestructible
Break down before my eyes
Is no easy fleet
Being ****** into situations
In which I have no control
Has never been this hard
Will things be okay?
Can anything defuse this chaos?
I'm stuck between
Being the protector and holding it together
And
Completely falling apart.
I feel like a child
Who wants nothing more than comfort
My only relief
Comes from the cigarette between my curled lips
The sweet release of smoke
Is close enough to total bliss.
For now, I guess
I'll keep ingesting more of this tobacco cocktail
Looking for answers
And staring at the sun.
Beautiful

Darling you are beautiful.
Not just ordinary-sort-of-beautiful either.
It's not for everyone to enjoy,
Tis not to everyone's taste,
But it is there:
Ineffable beauty.
And it begs to be loved.
I would do so gladly,
Tracing your face's outline
Like it is a piece of art work,
Or the full moon in the sky.
It is so specific. So very you:
Beauty like no other.
You can't see it sometimes
Because it hides behind your smile
And sits above your raised brows.
It likes to daydream at times
In the crooks of your curls,
And takes a nap on your nose.
As a master of disguise,
It plunges into your eyes,
And finds there warm sea water.
It is a little timid maybe,
But with a few kind thoughts
You could lure it out
Into your own
Observable universe.
God wasn't in the crusades
He isn't in the killing of weapons men made
He didn't solicit the death of millions
He doesn't reside in the tyranny of man
He doesn't just steal loved ones away
He isn't in the evil committed in his name
We have twisted his message of love to fit our needs
For control and bringing others to their knees
His message wasn't meant to enslave but to free
To serve and bring revival to the powers that be
So before we preach of Gods indecency
We have to look within
God didn't fail mankind
We failed him

Tord
it's like a radio
you can't turn off
that annoying hit song
you will forget
but you can't

pause

never judge a man
by his past
when you believe
in his future
