Everyone says they want independence
Not everyone knows what it is
I used to hate the thought of it
Now I find it gives me bliss

Independence allows me to think for myself
No one can tell me what to do
I find myself at peace in this time
Being alone isn't so blue

Independence is necessary
It teaches you true life lessons
You learn to survive without anyone else
And it gives you many blessings

I used to think independence came with loneliness
That simply isn't true
There will always be family and friends
They will be there through and through

I am finding my true self through independence
Maybe I will miss the company
But for now I'm filled with glee
The independence is what will help me find out who me really is

Some people think that life's not worth it
Maybe it's that they don't deserve it
But that's not true it's perfect
Life is a treasure that doesn't need any searchin

We all can amount to something
Even if we think life's worth nothing
Each individual is a diamond ring
Now marry your life give it some bling

Always know that someone cares
Even if you think that no one's there
Find the happy things that are so rare
Never let go of that bliss you can share

Let someone else feel that joy
Hope they find out that they can enjoy
It doesn't matter if it's a girl or a boy
No one's life should be a toy

Everyone is worth something always remember that

What is the definition of beauty
Many have wondered the same
We use this word often but seldom know what it means

People say beauty is on the outside
The shape or tone of your body
****** characteristics and hair
Maybe even the color of your eyes

Others will say it's on the inside
How caring and geniune you are
The intelligence of someone
Or it could be your affection

I will say although I can not define it
I have witnessed true beauty
I realise the definition of beauty is you

A utopia is the perfect place
People say the world is not that space

When I look at the world I see it too
But that all changes when I'm with you

You are my utopia a perfect sight
You fill me with bliss all through the night
All the bad goes away and out of sight
Only the good stays and that's alright

There's no where else I would rather be
The best location is when you're with me

Most don't want brown eyes
Instead they want blue like the sky
Or maybe its the green of a jade fly

I see them for the beauty they hold
Visualizing coffee and a day so cold
Or riding a horse whose stride is bold
In the end it's brown eyes with a story untold

I came to learn, not to enjoy
The system was flexible
But I maintained and began to annoy
I conquered it and came with success
I still wanted more than just that
The system ensued in feelings of stress
Later in time I found my relief
Through someone that cared
And gave me a new belief
Life is more than just the hard work
There is more out there like love
But work is important in giving perks
