Gracefully,
my paintbrush
moves from here
   to the
           stars.

Galaxies explode,
and recreate art.
The Septolet is a poem consisting of seven lines containing fourteen words with a break in between the two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture.
One by one,
The petals fall,
Softly to the ground.

One by one,
My tears fall,
Rolling down my cheeks.

We are just the same, you and I
We are both longing to survive,
But as every petal falls and every tear rolls,
The beauty inside us slowly dies.
Everyone is beautiful, no matter what. But soon were all going to die. Beauty cannot live forever.

Insomnia,
Once again we meet,
I've grown accustomed to your
Nightly *******,
A dangerous liaison in
Those early hours.

It's 5 o'clock in the morning
I'm tired worn withdrawn
The monotony of daily embargoes
Assaults on a mind.

So tainted with desire
Laying beside me, skin as pale
As ghost walkers of the night.

Unheard, betrayal forms
A multitude of symbolic reasoning
Classical mixtures of
The abstract mystical undertones
And tangible fears grounding selves
Burrowing deeper below the surface.

Māra is beside me, smiling
Oh how I wish I could
Get her to see
That I'm not seeking attention
I'm merely seeking redemption.

Her demonic shadow need not
Accompany me
Stealing hours of wakeful sleep
I'm no lover of hers anymore.

Insomnia,
I'm tired of this dangerous liaison,
I want freeing.

I only just found this! I'd typed it up on my phone when I couldn't sleep. And forgot! So here's another today :)

My mind- an empty clutter

Trying to put words on paper,

Words that have no meaning,

Words that don’t rest for a second.

It’s not the same

Since the feeling’s gone,

But my heart still stings

Of lust.

For I am cursed to always want

That which I can’t have.
