I see the demons
Surrounding me
Choking me
Just over taking me

these feelings never been set free
Feelings of hate and misery
Like a boom created in chemistry
Tick, tick, boom

Used for the suffocation of society
promised to end its entirety
Carried out like life’s philosophy
Only to end in tragedy

The lives of millions become history
For you all live in idiocy
Unable
Untold
Unbelievable

You all are blinded so easily
Not willed to act freely
You have been misguided so eagerly
Your lack of education appalls me
Why you even sit here is clueless to me

I can see that you disagree
But I can see me in you to a certain degree

I see the hate and misery
I see the boom you and I created too easily
I see the fuel to it, all too clearly
And Its not me

I may say it as I see it
But that’s because
That’s a portion of me,
I’ve looked into that mirror so thoroughly
I’ve lost track of what was me
But I’m back finally
And I’m ready to be free

This air so dark and unsanitary
It reeks of smoke and carbon dioxide
Yet breathing it in is mandatory
And there is no place to hide

And if we don’t soon start a revolution
We will continue to curse and sentence this world to death
This generation may not see its extinction
But our descendants will feel it taking it’s last breath

In the corner of the street
a man plays an old guitar
Nobody notices him
He continues to gaze at the stars
The city's noise
Is capable of drowning his voice.
He plays without hesitation
Never asking for attention.
He can't afford anything new
The kindest,
give him a dollar or two.
His lifestyle is frugal.
They say he owned a fancy hotel.
His strings are worn out
but the sound is clear
His only love is his beer.
In the corner of the street,
a man plays an old guitar
The same one
who never sang about his broken heart.

Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
Can you touch it?
My heart is loud.
the only thing holding me back is my
fears.
But why does it only beat for you?
Are you the one? Or are you just for a moment?
I have tried so many times to make
these work.
They never have. They all end the same.
With a broken hearted girl.
With regards to Thomas Sayers Ellis*

Look at the
    Lucent lava lamps,
Dark craters
    Hiring hands.
We walked,
    Mimicking magma.
Hot, why is
    This heat?
Forget Vulcan
    And his illusion
Of kaleidoscopes,
    A rip tide
On the shore
    Of our conscious minds.
We held fire,
    Pretending to swim
Underground,
    But only out
Of pure respect.
    Some had boots
Made with
    The clippings
Of funky tripwire,
    Others wore suits
With goggles
    Clamped to their faces,
Gripping like
    Bay Area earthquakes.
One-by-one,
    Jang-strangs were
Attached to us and
    Hurled into the Pit
With rhythmic rituals,
    Waves of S and P
Flailed away
    Like flags.
One nation
    Under a new.
No one looked away
    From the fiery daze.
No one wept.
For without this sun,
How could any survive this life?
10 words
Why should anyone die alone?

How could anyone die together?
She is sitting next to the window,
Rain pouring.
She was cold,
And he is the warmth.

Her eyes reflect,
The droplets, outside.
Soon become real,
Falling from the inside.

She promised she wouldn't cry.
She didn't when she found him on the ground,
She didn't at the sound of the deafening beep,
She didn't when they lowered him to his grave.

But she guessed,
She held it for too long.
Was it okay?
She can't stop.

She remembers,
When he held her hand,
Wrapped his arms around her,
Kissed Her.
Now she needs that,
To stop hurting.

When she was with him,
She felt contented,
Safe,
Warm.

Why is it,
That when she need him the most,
He disappears,
Forever?

His demise,
She's Pensive, about.
Profusion of questions,
Asking the stated obvious.

If he ever thought she hated him,
Think again.
Look who's crying now.

He is the bones in her body,
The muscle,
Her heart.
She can't live without him.

So, that means she's dead.

He's no longer here.
What's the point of living,
If she can't stand up?
If she can't breath?

She knows he isn't coming back,
So she thought it over.
She's got nothing here anymore,
Got nothing to live for.

So she takes the gun,
Placed it to her temple.
So she can be with him know,
They'll be together forever.

“I love you,” she whispers.

And there, stood the grave, right next to his, it was marked:
